  1. Check the both the front and rear roof planes have the same fascia top height.
  2. You need to add a small "attic" wall in that gap, or...extend the wall back through the gap and then open the wall dbx and check the box for ROOF CUT WALL AT BOTTOM.
  3. A molding polyline will be the most likely method for some of the connectors. Slabs and polysolids as well.
  4. Great service for residential builders and developers of all sizes. Email Joey at joeymdp@gmail.com with Builder/Developer in the title and I will get you the info you need, and we can set up a time to chat or Zoom in to my computer and I can show you first hand what I can do for you.
  5. Same principal. Set the minimum separation to ZERO and mull 2 doors together
  6. It's a door with a sidelight (fixed door) mulled together. Easy as could be.
  7. Open the wall DBX and tell Chief to build the foundation where you want it to build and it will do the rest for you. Nothing to move.
  8. Triforce has an 11-7/8" truss, but as @robdyck you really need the 16" if you are going to use these. They are great for my area to keep posts and bulkheads out of finished basements. https://www.openjoisttriforce.com/triforce-features-and-benefits/#joistsize
  9. Simply rename the rooms you don't use. For instance, a patio can be renamed to "terrace" or copy a bedroom or living room and rename the copy to say "den" or what ever you want.
  10. JK. Seriously though, depending where in Indiana can make a huge difference. I am less than hour north on Monument Circle, and yet don't get a lot of work out of Indy. Locally, the jurisdictions don't even require plans. "Builders" are getting permits from sketches and ideas and a piece of paper. Remodels? Forget about it. I have just recently starting getting referrals for those. I hate doing them, but.... My biggest repeat clients are in Ohio (2), South Carolina, and Jacksonville Florida. One builder in the metro Indy are uses me, everything else is out of my area. For larger contracts and builders that are going to use my services long term, I travel. The only feasible way I could get to where I wanted to be, was to get on a plane every now and then. Can you make 6 figures? Hmm....maybe. Can you bill 6 figures? Yes. But it will take getting into your local HBA and putting in some work. Getting on a plane now and then will help too.
  11. There's no work in Indiana...none....better move on
  12. Then use a pocket door. The tool is still the same, you are simply using the wrong door.
  13. Select the door in 3D and click the open in 3D button
  14. I need this detail drafted up today and I am simply too busy. Someone shoot me a price and if you can get it done today. joeymdp@gmail.com
  15. Click in the "room" and select the SHELF CEILING option for those rooms and set the height. See if that works for what you want.
  16. I found some, thanks. I may eventually place these blocks on the silhouette though. CAD People.calibz
  17. Anyone have 2D people? Not the silhouettes, but plan view people?
  18. My anno set is set up to handle those labels.
  19. I prefer this method over the letters and/or numbers.
  20. Open the PDF and take a snap shot and paste the snap shot into Chief. Easier to work with.
