sorry bad pic I guess I meant for you to CHECK the foundation option , you can also use the foundation Tab in the same DBX to reset default sizes and the chamfer etc you may need to delete the foundation and rebuilt it ,to reset all the settings you have tried to default

on level one , on the interior wall between the house and garage did you open the wall's DBX and specify it to have a foundation? (on the general tab) it should build auto as specified in the defaults ,but on level 0 you can select it and change it if needed. M.

install a PDF Print Driver as Perry mentioned, I still use the one recommended by Chief back then, works great and adds nothing to your system like some others, you just get a short advertising window pop up for 20 secs or so when you save and it "prints" the PDF to your screen . http://www.pdf995.com/download.html

under the view menu have you toggled off Toolbars and scrollbars ?

Did you break the edge of the landing so the stairs will attach automatically? the edge cant be wider than the staircase you could try drawing the staircases 1st then clicking in the gap where the landing is to see if it auto-generates , it will on simpler stairs.... Nice , an upgrade to X6 Bob

"Boxed Eave" in the Options Tab of the Roof DBX will get you the flat eave , the height is determined by the size of the sub-facsia eg 2x4.2x6 etc. , not 100% sure if a rebuild is needed or it will auto generate anyway if this setting changes. If you designate the front entry as a Porch or Slab it should get a ceiling and Roof automatically ,but depending on how drawn you may need invisible walls to get the room definition , otherwise you would/could use a manual ceiling plane ,soffit /slab etc. M.

When this has happened to me I have used the same method as KilgoreT for the terrain but I am unsure if it will help with the siding issue ,might had to use a slab or soffit there with a stucco material to cover it up ?

do you have file extensions showing in Windows explorer ? they are off by default in most windows versions as are "hidden" files. Uncheck the box so they show like in the pic below M.

if you have a better photo ( or can get one) of the tile , try applying it to any 12"x24" tile in the library as a texture... not sure how you are going to get it for the new Client , if even your supplier can't find it though , looks like a Slate or an imitation of Slate though to me. M.

No problem , I mentioned it cos I had issues with a cloned SSD myself even though everything I used to test / check the alignment said it was good , the issues went away once I did a fresh install. That may not be the issue here of course. If you have the receipt for the computer that is good enough for the PS RMA , most stores only do a warranty for 1 yr but many parts like Ps and HD's have 3 or even 5 yr warranty's but you need to deal directly with the Manufacturer for that.

a lot of (good) PS have a 5 yr warranty so check into it before buying new , Corsair's RMA process is pretty painless ,and they will cross ship with a C.Card No#. worth checking even if you already brought new , process the RMA anyway ,and you'll have a spare to help with diagnosing next time. Sounds like you cloned the SSD from your HD , did you align the SSD 1st ? Ahhh okay I wondered about that Yep it appears that Chief goes back to using the narrowest wall for the height set (109+8") and then gives the other walls a full width Birdsmouth Seat cut ,which varies the plate height and screws up the ceiling lines though the fascia heights appear correct. M.

I use group select > changed the Birdsmouth by 2" per your original experiment..... I just tried it again ,group selected and transform/rep. move 8" on z axis and the original plates stayed as did the ceiling and chief built a short wall above with new plates , so weird yes , if I do the same at 2" it doesn't build the small wall it alters the Birds mouth. Not sure if this is possibly cos of the weird wall arrangement being 6/8/10/12" around the building. M.
