Pretty Funny ...I downloaded the SS library looking for an upgrade only to find it was the Library I made back in June from a couple of images I found on a Texture Site after finding that the Fridge and faucets looked bad in a Reno Plan I was working on. I am pretty surprised that Chief doesn't have a much better material actually since I am a loooong way from being a Graphic Artist of any kind Bill's Pic (texture) looks good too , will have to try it... Mick.

Sorry Gene, think I figured it out, Chief imported them backwards ( ie arrow for front points to back) and as there is no back on the Chests they looked like the Drawers are missing after I placed them.

Thanks Gene , I downloaded the Chests and Bed , maybe I did something wrong or they didn't import right as neither Chest has any drawers in it? could you check them out thanks. had the same problem recently and this is what it was.....makes sense the fly rafter is generally the same size as the common rafters and the gable fascia on size larger. M.

(you said you used a 2nd one in green) do other fences recognise the terrain with the follow terrain setting ?

don't remember the last time I turned angle snaps off so have not noticed that one....

I thought it was cos they also have icons on the toolbar to toggle them on and off ? ...at least with the Edit Object parts button which I use.... M.

it was importing as 2 lines until I checked the box for "import hatch entites" then it came in ok.

you change change the Sheathing thickness in the Build Roof DBX> Options>Roof Layer section and the materials on the Materials Tab

although the upload limit per post is now 25mb instead of 10mb I think the total per user is/was 50mb so if you post plans or symbols you may run out of space , I did on the HomeTalk Forum and had to delete a number of my pics and files before I could attach pics to new posts,not really a good policy since the Forums are a reference source and a pic says a 1000 words... . your "missing wall" in the gable is I believe cos you are using the Floor camera instead of the FULL Camera ,at least for me it there with full not with Floor in your test plan.... not sure why the drywall is missing of the ends of the dormer walls , I thought you meant the framing was sticking thru the drywall in the ceiling.....

it looks like you have both layers assigned as main layers ? and the material would need to be "air gap" or "opening-no material" so you can't see it ,unlike the Fir. I'll see if I can find GlenWW thread/help again M.

I think a 2x4 would meet code as you only need 1 3/4" landing I think so with an LVL Rim or even full dim. lumber you would get that. but the 2x4 placement by CA is still a bug as its not under the Rim , the brick ledge issue raised above is something else there'd need to fix and allow for framing not coming to the exterior line of the foundation. M.

Ahhhh..... Treated 2x6 is most commonly used ...... and hopefully wont break the budget.... but I think you have found a bug as 2x4 aligns with the joist end not the rim joist while the 2x6 and 2x8 align with the Rim Joist as expected. 2x4 2x6 2x8 Mick

removing the ceiling shouldn't show the sky ....it should show the framing and sheathing layer..... I sometimes see the framing showing too and depending on roof pitch etc have found the rafters etc the wrong size.... no image attached either

Now I see the issue , and the fact you posted a sample plan clued me in , when you built the foundation you didn't set the Sill Plate width in the Foundation DBX to 7 1/2" so it defaulted to 3 1/2" your default settings change 3 1/2 to 7 1/2 to get this

you can probably do it with a custom rail/wall type with an added layer on the outside defined as the main layer .... GlenWW showed this a few months back when I wanted Posts mounted to the deck Rim/fascia , so you'd be doing the opposite ,forcing the posts in not out. M. Not sure why CA insists on posts sitting on / flush to the Rim joist , they are never built this way......

it sounds like your main layer on the 2x4 walls is set to the siding/stucco (outer layer) of those walls instead of to the Framing which would align it to the foundation wall. if that's not it you could post the .Plan file so someone could look at it for you. M.
