It appears you have copied whole sections of the Core Library to your User Library eg the Microwaves and warming Drawers Check your X10 Library see if it looks the same....maybe a snafu on upgrading to X11?
  2. The Roof plane doesn't appear to cover the Whole Room or pass over the Wall that seems to be leaking light...
  3. Are you sure Rob ? as I don't think Wall Elevations show the wall above the Flat Ceiling line even if there is no Flat Ceiling.... people have been asking for that for a While now though....

Just make sure you have a backup Copy someplace else too Joe.... M.
  5. Thanks Glenn , like Basil I thought from reading the Manual etc , (which says click the corresponding Toggle button), I thought I could click the same Icon again to go back to Default , but could never get it to work , so ended up add a Default button to my Toolbar too. M.
  6. Toggle has never worked for me either (PC), so I have a default Icon just for going back on my toolbar too.

Thanks Joe, I renamed the Original Folder (-Orig) Yesterday , and copied my X10 Templates Folder into CA/DATA/X11 , so I had all my old Templates too Did the same for Textures and Toolbars actually So maybe I have messed something up with all my copying and pasting, will have to look into it more now.... M.

It's called Residential Template.plan (Or Residential TemplateM if Metric) should be in Documents\Chief Architect Premier X11 Data\Templates or if it was overwritten by the migration a backup is in C:\Program Files\Chief Architect\Chief Architect Premier X11 (64 bit)\Templates
  14. Thanks Joe appreciate you Posting that... Mick.
  15. Not that I am aware of yet , and unless X11 just changed the ML for the better , it does not do a full industry standard take-off yet, it only lists exactly what is in the model ...without alot of work adding components and accessories etc yourself to each Item and working with macros etc...... this is also something I have wanted for a long while now as a Builder too.
  16. The Roof Plane Controls the Wall Height, setting the Overhang on that Side to 1 1/2" (flush to wall in cross section) may get you close , but the Roof plane will need to be edited if you plan on walking around the Corner to the Side Deck.
  17. Not sure there is a good solution in Chief to get everything right unfortunately , CA doesn't add a Sill plate to the Top of Full Masonry Walls ( eg Brick or CMU/Block) AFAIK for the Roof framing to land on. I thought CA treated Brick walls slightly differently but that maybe only in regards to their alignment with walls above and below. Not quite sure how you quoted me as saying that Glenn , that was Rik's Comment... but thanks for the Tip on the Single Wall layer Issue and recessing Windows
  18. Then you are in luck , it is a new Feature in X11, Notes Schedules .....public Beta was released yesterday , if you have SSA , see the Upgrade Button in your Digital Locker...
  19. Move it down into the Main Layer ..... delete any layers you don't need ...see my Pic above below of the Wall definition Or Save the wall type from my plan to your Library , then draw a short length in your Plan and then you'll find it in the Wall types dropdown and can assign it to the existing walls ...assuming it works for your Build? You may need a framing Layer and drywall too? ( you can then delete the short wall, when done). M. should look like this:
  20. Kbird are you using X11? Double Brick Wall Plan_X10.plan Thought you might say that so here is X10 you can get x11 if you have SSA *** the Brick Mould is from the Azek Library , so you may need to install it if you want a True Brick Mould.
  21. This is the one I made above Double Brick 9in with Plaster Wall.calibz
  22. Sorry I didn't mean to confuse the issue with my joke about the 2" thick house wrap , I knew it should be an Insulation Air Gap and he was just in a hurry. M.
  23. Generally you quote someone to reply to them directly or use their name as you see Glen doing just above to us both...... No quote or name would generally just be a comment in general to all , but then some don't follow the Quote or use of name convention either, but quoting someone usually mean they get notified of your Post and you may get a response faster by doing so. M.
  24. I guess it is..... they make that HouseWrap real thick in AZ I see
