I run into this occasionally on my Windows machine too ...it usually happens when I open another Users Chief Plan , so Glenn maybe onto something there, I now always have my Toolbars Locked but things can still get wonky on occasion. M.

It doesn't work for CAD Blocks ... that is correct.... Unblock > reblock should work too I think. It is a continuing Issue for me as well , working with Others who don't have my 2560x1440 monitor size.

You really aren't giving anyone a chance of answering that question with no pics and no plan to look at ...so i'll say yes you're missing some setting M.

Finally got a chance to open the Plan and have a look , was working from memory yesterday, and Plan Check works on the 2nd floor but not the basement level ( no errors) once the include in Living Area Calculation box is checked in all rooms... Maybe worth sending in as even after I removed all interior doors in the basement , and the bathroom not having a Fan ( or window) yet should have triggered a Plan Check Error ( multiple really) , at least those conditions on others floors normally do.

I believe it uses Room Definition and the Condition Space Living Space setting in the Room's DBX since it is "Living Area" so if either of those conditions is compromised it may not work. I think @Dermot posted about this recently , so maybe he can elaborate more for you.... M.

It's not a Windows Issue perse, it is the Nahimic Sonic Radar App that Windows Update/ Windows Store automatically updates when Windows updates the Nahimic Drivers. You can stop Windows Update from Updating Drivers quite easily if you'd like too ? , this also stops the App updating usually as the app needs to be compatible with the Driver.... In X12 you can now just turn the Newels off on the Rail Style Tab ( checkbox ) and place your own post from the Framing Menu. (set Default 1st if needed?) don't want the rail either ? make whole rail Invisible or uncheck the options in pic # 2 M.

sounds like you have switched your reference layer on by accident ....F9 or 11th icon on the RH Toolbar to toggle it on or off

I do it more or less like Mark but Use a z_ in front of the Client's Folder Name like you , so it is at the bottom of the Tree and easy to drag Items I just saved to the Library into the Clients folder. M.

What software do you have? sounds like you have not set level one's floor structure to concrete ( slab) or set the foundation level to a Monolithic Slab ? More likely an Audio Driver Update from Dell, which triggered the Windows Store to update the Sonic Studio and Sonic Radar Windows Apps. On my laptop if I uninstall Sonic Radar ONLY Chief works fine but others with Dells have all been advised to remove both ... not sure why, and can't test as I don't have a Dell and their Command Center. M.

Not just Laptops as in David's Alienware Desktop case....strange that it just started out of the blue though...
