  1. $99USD unless you are a 1 man band operation , then it's only $37 --- Nice !
  2. Nice , and even better the Client can do the Work himself... Chief has a BeniMoore Library....... maybe not all the colours though? Mick.
  3. Thanks for doing that John, I'll definitely take a look. Mick.
  4. Ryan is right, I have been using Auto - Framing for Rain Screen for 2-3 years now, since X9, I posted a library in the symbols forum for every along with an X10 update here..... Rainscreen Batten Library - Symbols and Content - ChiefTalk Forum (chiefarchitect.com) Hopefully they have updated that ability too - looks like we will find out thurs. as Mark mentioned. M.
  5. Nice ! , I need to catch up on the Webinars Videos apparently.... M.
  6. I missed this ...from thurs.? I missed this weeks presentation..... does that mean we can now have two layers of Framing on a Roof ? this has been asked for for years by those that need Roof "Battens" or Purlins. M.
  7. Care to comment on Ryzen CPUs for the OP Larry @HumbleChief
  8. Not sure what you are doing as it works for me ..."play" a bit more perhaps.... here I placed two identical windows then clicked RH side of right window and changed its size to 44"
  9. Click on the windows side handle(s) ( at the Jamb) not the middle handle ---seen in red in pic above.... M.
  10. Pretty much my thoughts on those comments too along with simply setting the General Wall Default Resize About option to Inner surface in your Template.
  11. Thanks David , appreciate the post , I was concerned the OP may think I was somehow giving bad information based only on the downvote. Mick.
  12. may be best to Post over in the Seeking and perhaps Offers Forums Seeking Services - ChiefTalk Forum (chiefarchitect.com) Offering Services - ChiefTalk Forum (chiefarchitect.com)
  13. Sorry but Wow you jumped in with both feet there , I know you are busy, so was only expecting a comment the Ryzen CPUs since I don't know about them specifically... Thanks. M.
  14. If you ran the Command in the Article from an Administrator Command Prompt and it hasn't worked it is probably best you call Tech. support Tomorrow for more help. there have been a few other reports of the FTH problem , so make sure to search the Forum for other info too. maybe worth putting your hardware specs in your sig. with an issue like this.... Link. to KB Article incase someone needs it in the Future : Message: Windows Fault Tolerant Heap (FTH) has been enabled for this application. (chiefarchitect.com)
  15. You might want to check out Canvas ...if you have an iPhone? * note : I don't and have never used it as I don't have an Iphone ( or any Apple Products.) Get Chief Architect as-builts by scanning a space with your iPad or iPhone - Offering Services - ChiefTalk Forum Canvas, Scan to CAD Chief Architect - General Q & A - ChiefTalk Forum M.
  16. And for those of us who will never use an Iphone or Ipad? ie an Andriod App when? (or Windows? not sure how the Tech works...or Data from a Leica Disto 7500i for eg.) M.
  17. See your plan I posted above..... I deleted them... and reset Defaults Correct > now turn on Dimensions> Framing Floor Only in the ALDO and delete them. *** Delete Objects works though too and is easier ...I thought it hadn't worked for some reason
  18. The Dimensions are all on the Framing-Floor dimensions layer ? switch to ALL OFF layerset, Turn on Dimensions Framing-Floor Shift select them all and delete.. *The previous advice works as well to get rid of them though ? what did I miss? M. **** MHD_bobbitplan.plan
  19. Yep, no disagreement there for sure ...my hope is we were just looking at a very early Alpha Build , considering what RTX Cards can do in modern games with lighting and shadows etc. Was kinda why I got a laptop with a 2070 Super after all.... M.
  20. I wondered looking at the Video if Scott just didn't wait long enough for the RTRT to finish before moving on or swiveling the camera or something? ( little pixel-ly still) I assume the house had a roof and foundation on it so the light bleed up through the floor should not be there ( old PBR issue too) Maybe there are still Issues in RT with Light bouncing of Glass ( photon/caustics? can't remember been quite a while since I did a RT ) and hence the Black Shower head etc. M.
  21. that would of been good in the 1st post Eric is right......make sure All Floor is set at the top of the Delete Objects DBX and select Auto and manual and they'll all disappear. M.
  22. Glenn has an old Video on Jing about spiral staircases but I am not sure if he is still using the same methods now as the video was posted 4-5 yrs ago it appears........I'll let him repost the link as Flashplayer and Jing have been superseded - I get an error clicking on the old link I have. @glennw
  23. this does work well and there are several old threads on it, but for a quick fix a 4 1/2" thick Polyline Solid, also drawing in Elevation and set to Drywall material works well too, without the associated issues of working with Chief's Walls. M.
  24. Resetting the New Plan Default Template back to Chief's OOB Residental Template.plan file should put the Default back to factory settings (OOB) if you have corrupted it by accidentally saving your Defaults to it , there is a copy in the Chief Program Folder > Templates too. If you are trying to fix one File ? import the Defaults from the OOB Residential Template to "reset" the current Plan You can also reset Preferences Etc if that is the issue ? A reinstall should fix that too .....rename the Chief Data Folder in My Documents 1st though so Chief Creates a new one and refreshes everything. Mick
