  4. In the real world the panels come from the cabinet company and are applied in the field. Just name the cabinet DW panel or whatever and put it in place as the others have mentioned.
  5. OK, got it Joe. I don't usually do these for myself but am now starting to do design for others so will probably need to. Thanks!
  6. How do I get that to show? I have selected custom fill and brick pattern, tried front group but that pattern does not show? Layer is turned on (material region) as well as CAD. IF need be I will PTP.......;o)
  7. Place them manually from the library. I think there needs to be a dbx for each door or drawer. Mayby next version? I know it's a pain but..........
  8. It looks like it is treating the cable rail PANEL as a baluster. Check you setting and see if you have PANEL selected. I have not done this for a long time so can not tell you exactly.

  12. Alan - I have been using a Brother but a different model, MFC689- CDW, scan, fax etc. and am happy with it. I on occasion print out high quality color on photo paper and it looks pretty good.
  13. IN CA there are MANY ways to "Skin a Cat" !
  14. I have one model Did you check 3D warehouse? walk in tub.calibz
  15. Setting a material to 100% emissive only brightens the material. There is NO actual lighting generated. That only happens when you have an actual light fixture/source. THe only way to create the rope light is as David did with the multiple lights. You also have to take time to get the light setting correct. IN his video the light is too bright. IMHO You can also play with the drop off rate and adjust the spread to about 170 which I think he may have done. It really takes some trial and error and TIME. THe biggest thing that bothers me is the light bleed. CHIEF PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Perry - the siding goes to just flat, no lines showing as over the garage, around the window and the portion of the wall that wraps towards the porch but is not IN the porch.
  17. I think you will have to do what you are doing. Maybe instead of trying to do the random height width pattern just post a picture of the tile for that section. There are just too many variations of tile and installations.
  18. In reality that is not one solid wall but probably stone on block. You can create a wall type to match and draw the walls and then insert openings where needed. For fire places I make the room walls black, no molding and us a bi-fold door with narrow black frames sized as needed. Of course if it is an open fire place then skip the door and just use doorway, no casing. There are symbols for fire place items wither in CHief or in 3D warehouse.
  19. Jason - how do you do timing in Open Office? Or are you talking manually putting in time?
  20. Have you changed any of your settings? Or just a different camera angle with all other settings the same? If all your settings are the same then I would shut the program down, reboot the computer and see if that helps. Don't know why that may or may not help but when I get different results when doing the same thing I get suspicious of the computer.
  21. How are they/you planning on insulating it? OR is it in a perfect climate?
