  1. OK, maybe I misunderstood you Scott. I unchecked all the stringer tabs and got 3 stringers If I have open risers. BUT I do not want open risers and when I uncheck that I lose the stingers. At least the ones not in the immediate camera view. IF I delete the riser there is not visible stinger in the middle or on the opposite side. Also look at what I get when I rotate the camera with open risers .. THe stingers are not continuous.
  2. Scott - did you do anything else? I can get one stringer but not the 3 you have. Have checked closed stringer with and without stringer at wall but nothing shows. Perry - that was my next comment!
  3. Looks like maybe your walls are not joined properly. Something weird there. You may need to either post a pic of the plan view and/or post the plan.
  4. Perry - so you are saying it should be there? There is no lower landing but a slab. Maybe my stairs are not connected properly to the deck? I had to make a room enclosure to get the stairs flared like they are. Have a look. I cannot find a dbx anywhere for stair specs regarding framing. Mathes.zip
  5. The stringers. Can't find anywhere where they can be generated. In my case they are part of a deck.
  6. "only limited by my patience!"<br /><br />splains the gray hair! ;o) Well earned I'm sure!!!
  7. Never look for this before but it appears Chief does not do stair framing?
  8. Glad to be contributing instead of receiving for a change.
  9. Personally I wouldn't use it in any of my closets or recommend it for clients. just sayin....
  10. 3D warehouse has wire shelves. https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/search.html?q=wire+shelves&rsi=sbis&backendClass=entity
  11. Scott - I don't see your "problems" as problems. It is just like doing it in the field. It is a custom treatment and takes custom work. And being able to do it is what counts. Everything can't be automatic or we would not be needed.
  12. Bill - that does not seem to offer the 4" stucco all around.
  13. Wall with no definition or locate sized to fit in opening. Make it once and copy into other openings.
  14. I seem to remember how this cold be done being posted years ago by Archijeff I think. And maybe someone else also. But I cannot remember the process. I think it had to do with custom moldings/casing. NO real help I know but maybe he will respond or you can search the archives. Another reason not to get rid of them. The best I can do with the dbx is attached.
  15. Thanks guys. I have never needed one but there is always a first time!
  16. AS David pointed out you can make the courses line up but the exposure will change. As long as it meets manufacturers specs that is fine. Decreasing the exposure is usually no problem. If the courses meeting is more aesthetically pleasing to you/client than the exposure then all is well. David - I did not review the whole plan as you did but only the gap mentioned in the original post. Never looked to moldings/trim. Are you a detective on the side? ;o)
  17. Not to me. Are you pulling it towards the roof plane on the left?
  18. Rashid - select the wall and just drag it into position. Those courses will never line up because one is on a sloped roof and the other on a vertical wall. Just basic math. Am I missing something?
  19. Didn't see one in 3D warehouse. You may have to make one Alan.
  20. Joe - that is what I thought but I just tried it and it did not show up in the schedule. ??? select room-create schedule from room-select cabinet only the base cabinet I had in the plan showed up.
  21. Perry - I am 6'2 , 280.. I think we need separate cells! ;o)
  22. Just cause you can't bend over is no reason for the rest of the world to change! ;o)
