  1. YOu have no finished ceiling! Check your structures tab and ceiling.
  2. Like Michael I have all the openings for the stairs. However, I am getting a notice of a wall disconnect on the 2nd floor. (broken wall connection as part of cursor). That is one hell of a plan. Maybe close chief and reopen will help?
  3. THe only thing I can think of as a work around is to have the middle window without grids, block 3 units, make arch and then use molding polylines to create the look of the grids. Place them where you want and re-block them with the unit.
  4. is your framing on? I am thinking this is the space for the floor joists.
  5. move your invisible wall at the bottom of the steps!
  6. Usually I would use a treated 2x6 on the concrete/block and then build a 2x4 wall on that. SO in effect I would have a double bottom plate. Haven't done one in a long time.
  7. place shutters manually. I don't remember if there are any in any of the libraries. If not, 3D warehouse.
  8. Never had that problem. I would check drivers, then new mouse. I am also wondering if it is the video card? Maybe it needs a driver update?
  9. select the base with the molding. Then click on the set as default icon on the far right of the bar.(bottom of screen)<br />then all the base cabinets will come in as B33 with the molding.
  10. Kathleen - why not use a polyline solid for the bead board on the back interior of the cabinet? THen it won't look wrong in plan view?
  11. Kathleen, Here is most of it via the dbx. Need more PS for interior sides
  12. Joe - Just tried my method and it gets a back automatically if brought in as a cabinet. Oh well. back to post #4! ;o)
  13. Joe - that is a different approach. Not sure why you are referring me to it.
  14. Kathleen - Seems in real life that that kind of cabinet would lack in structure. Have you ever had them made by a cabinet company? My only thought is to place one the size and style you want in a blank plan, use delete surface tools and then convert to symbol.
  15. WE now can set dpi as well as the lxw in pixels or inches in ray trace. I am thinking that combining lxw in inches and dpi go together but it seems that lxw in pixels and dpi are sort of duplicating. WE used to use our screen size multiplied by desired dpi to set lxw in pixels to get day 300 dpi output. IF I increase the lxw in pixels AND increase to 300 dpi am I not really getting much higher dpi? Maybe way too big. Just looking for input on best practices when using these settings.
  16. I have on several occasions mentioned specifically to lighting reps from Hubberton Forge and Progress about wanting 3D symbols for the program and have referred them to Chief. I assume they have CAD drawings that they use to produce the symbols. Never got any kind of response or follow up. BUT I will keep trying!
  17. And even the ones that do show are not selectable. You cannot duplicate/transform replicate them as would be needed in the above example. They are not really part of framing. "Not Good" as my granddaughter would say.........
  18. Will it continue to work that way?
  19. Too many tools to keep track of!! Good one Perry.
