  1. Michael - If you responded to PM's then Ignore my statement. However, it would be nice if you posted back that you had received some help so others know the status. Otherwise it seems as if you are one of "them"! ;o) I have had others post and never respond to a private message or check back and it is annoying. Welcome to the forum.
  2. Pretty soon members of SAG will be after you! ;o)
  3. We just give them peyote buttons prior to the presentation.......;o)
  4. Never heard of that before. The only thing that comes to mind is that you have a very low quality video card. Have you tried closing down and rebooting the system? One other possibility is that all the layers are turned off in 3D view. What version of Chief are you using?
  5. Those girls look a little too old for that play set! ;o)
  6. how about a solid railing wall set to the height you want with the rail dimensions set to say 3/4x12?
  7. WHen you click on the window click on a specific window and then hit tab and that window should be selected with it's own dialogue box.
  8. Joe - I have no interest in this particular post. It just drives me crazy when people come here for help and never leave any contact information and often do not respond to PM or check back. I have experienced this several times. Why do they even bother??
  9. raise roof or lower ceiling height.
  10. i.e. hit the tab key and that will select a single window. There you can open the dialogue box and make all the changes. repeat process advancing from one window to the next with the tab key.
  11. just be sure to wear some flowers in your hair! ;o)
  12. The meeting is in Coeur D'Alene NOT San Francisco!
  13. That is why I use Movie Maker. If you do a walk through in Chief and then open in MM you can adjust things or even just save it as an mp4 just to reduce the file size. I like using ray traced images for the great quality.
  14. I like to use Microsoft Movie Maker to control the speed and file size. You can save the output file in formats for computer, email, tablets etc. and you get a much smaller file. Pretty easy to use and it's free. You can use it to adjust Chief's avi files or to make simple movies using ray traced shots with effects. Here is a short "movie" using ray traced images. MM RT slow zoom.zip
  15. I thought so.....;o( Really - this should be part of the roof framing.
  16. Cannot find any way to frame soffits on boxed eaves. Am I missing something?
  17. Mick - I just did it again and no quartz under Dal. What gives??
  18. Eric - to more correctly answer you question click the make polyline solid out of the shape and then when the dialogue box opens clik the box for hole in polyline solid.
  19. Pkegles, What do you mean when you say executed in Chief? I have only used Lumion free and it's been a while. I did like their walk through tools though. Thanks for keeping this post alive. Nice work!
  20. Chief's native SS has no texture. It is just gray with properties assigned to it so in standard render it is dark. Some of us have gotten textures of SS from the web and us those, stretched to fit usually and assigned properties for emmisiveness etc. to get the look we want. I have attached a couple here you can make a material from and experiment.
  21. Alan - you could have saved some money. Just duct tape it to your hand! ;o)
  22. Perry - Thanks for the reminder. I see it even updated some core libraries.
  23. OK, looks like it is on by default. Thanks jon & Larry.
