  1. Larry - I may be running up against this myself in a plan I am working on. Still doing pretty pictures at the moment but may be moving on to the more technical drawings shortly. If I find anything I'll let you know. Thanks for the heads up though. Now at least I won't feel like it is only me........
  2. Here are some devices Anders made for me several years ago if anyone wants them. There may be some duplication with what is in Chief's library. Lutron.calibz
  3. Perry - the material for the WMR should be insulation-opening,no material. That's what worked for me.
  4. Yes, they are different. You can just open the symbol DBX and select reverse symbol if needed. This way you have two options for the faucet
  5. Hey, germs are healthy. Besides, that magazine cover is a project of mine that was featured in the magazine. Germs wouldn't dare get on that cover!!! ;o)
  6. "Thanks ... by the way, I like your new avatar. You are almost as handsome as Joe. Almost - storey of my life! ;o)
  7. I redid the wall brackets. Did not like the ones I had. magazine rack_TP.calibz
  8. Nice one Joe. Thanks for sharing.
  9. Curt - If I use opening no material under chief's insulation I get just the studs. So insulation air gap is not the right thing to use.
  10. jon - looks like your not getting much help on this. I for one don't understand your custom railing. It is set about 12" in from the edge of the stair. I don't get that. DId you use the railing wall tool and select follow stairs? Not really sure what you are doing or want.
  11. Curt - change the material definition for the studs to just have a color but no texture or define the texture as an air gap. I don;t know why that texture applies itself across the whole wall. Joe - I like suggestion #5! ;o)
  12. Joe - I noticed that in my plan when I did it I had to change the definition for the stud layer to have no texture or an insulation air gap. It seems X7 OOB comes with a texture for the studs that applies across the whole wall not just for the studs themselves. Sort of like another layer of drywall. I am using an OOB interior 4 wall.
  13. I just thought seeing them would reinforce to the homeowner how many shelves are in each cabinet. It's not really a biggie, just another option. More annoying seeing them when you don't want to. But as you said it can be handled easily. Here is another thought. Make the doors translucent similar to glass house view so you can see inside the cabinets. Can you tell things are slow around here? ;o)
  14. jon - I deleted the wall and then selected the stairs and selected balusters on left. All seemed OK. Did this condition just build itself like shown when opened? Also - you mention custom railings in the post. What is custom about the railings? (PS - I am no wizard ) Maybe they are at lunch. ;o)
  15. Good point Mark. Maybe a toggle for each cabinet dbx, "show shelves"?
  16. New club - Hole in the wall gang.....;o) Interesting concept. (WMR)
  17. I actually like being able to see shelves but ONLY when I want them. A toggle for CABINET shelves would be great with ability to see them any time you want to or not see them when you don't.
  18. Rob - OK I see what you are doing. I though you were doing individual tiles. I was going to say, that would be SOOOOOOOOOOOO time consuming. Thanks for the posts. It's always nice to see how others do things.
  19. Jon - I did not look through the entire list of items that came up when I searched for this. It seemed that there was a bunch of other "stuff" coming up. I thought it was strange that there were none there. Thanks!
  20. Rob - I have only once used individual PS for my tiles. Any chance you would post the plan for the attached pics? I would like to fully check out how you have things arranged. IF not the plan how about a rendered/RT image? Thanks,
  21. Thanks Jon. Would not have thought to look under Viking. Joe - yes, another possibility.
