Good info Moe. Maybe someday I will take a stab at organizing my User Library.

Holy Cow! The only place I've seen that style of construction is at the Colorado Supermax prison.

ever seen an elevation depicted like this?
Rich_Winsor replied to SHCanada2's topic in General Q & A
Not to digress but I was wondering which Jason (@jasonN or @jasonn1234) is the evil twin. Just kidding. Interesting concept though, maybe I need an alter ego to pump up my reputation. -
Thanks Michael, as you know I'm usually frequenting the forums in what others would consider to be "off" hours. By the time I get to some of these posts they may have already veered significantly off topic. Undaunted I just fire off my responses.

So last night about this time I made what I thought was a fairly innocuous reply to a quote someone made in the topic X13 release. When I logged on tonight I had Notifications that several people had reacted to the post. When I clicked on the link to be taken to the topic I get an error message that says I don't have permission to view that content. Sure would like to know what those folks had to say.

I'm guessing that if you try the YouTube link at the bottom of Eric's signature you will find the answer.

OK, so I knew I wouldn't like something. It used to be that when you went down to the "Next unread topic" in the lower right hand corner, the title of the next topic was given. That way you knew what conversation you were joining. Now you are just taken to the next topic without knowing what that topic may be. Kindly restore the old functionality Granted you can find the topic once you have moved on to the next unread topic by looking thru the URL address at the top of the page but that was needless and now is a cumbersome nuisance.

lol. I was going to say that I already hate the new look.

Quote 750 sq. ft. ADU in California, start to permit
Rich_Winsor replied to Eric-ChiefUser's topic in Seeking Services
I used to love California. Now I just try to endure California. -
Best to give Chief sales a call. It's been a long time now but when I upgraded from Home Pro to Chief Premier they subtracted the Home price I had paid from the cost of Chief. And of course, you could always download the trial versions of each and give them a spin.

I've found the solution to this type of problem is acreage.

How do you increase dialog box button & text size?
Rich_Winsor replied to DRCI-INC's topic in General Q & A
You can control the size of the buttons here: -
Not gloating but that whole closed architecture approach can leave one up the proverbial tributary without adequate means of propulsion. The grass is always greener..... For equal time Windows 10 is no bed of roses either.

Ancient Astronaut Theorists say yes... but then they always say yes.

Hey Larry, maybe you need to downgrade your software.

Michael, the depths to which you have explored this software are almost beyond belief and I am duly impressed. Please don't take this in the wrong way but the above description triggered the following vision in my mind. You put your right foot in You take your right foot out You put your right foot in And you shake it all about You do the hokey pokey And you turn yourself around That's what it's all about You put your left foot in You take your left foot out You put your left foot in And you shake it all about You do the hokey pokey And you turn yourself around That's what it's all about You put your right hand in You take your right hand out You put your right hand in And you shake it all about You do the hokey pokey And you turn yourself around That's what it's all about You put your left hand in You take your left hand out You put your left hand in And you shake it all about You do the hokey pokey And you turn yourself around That's what it's all about You put your whole self in You take your whole self out You put your whole self in And you shake it all about You do the hokey pokey And you turn yourself around That's what it's all about

I've seen damned if you do and damned if you don't but you guys need to cut Newell some slack. First he gets down voted for being ungrateful for the help he has received here and now he gets down voted for expressing that thanks? I'll give ya that one back.

Me and Valiant Thor are taking an intergalactic Uber ride to the Mos Eisley cantina to catch the band. See you there.

Although it pained me greatly, in this case I eschewed my usual use of carriage returns for the sake of clarity. Plus I wanted to make sure Michael could read it on his cell phone.

Holy cow! When I was pecking this out at 3AM I was starting to have reservations. Would it be taken in the right way? What if I go to all this length to produce a list and nobody responds? I'm going to feel pretty foolish. I guess I shouldn't have been worried. Thanks for all the positive support. I hope it brought a little levity into your day.

??? beta testing 2013? I think that ended about 8 years ago.

In an effort to expedite the process of getting answers I have compiled a list of the probable responses you will get when you post a question on this forum. I apologize in advance for any slights or omissions whether they be perceived or actual and for any trampled toes or ruffled feathers. @solver– Eric will direct you to the correct forum and ask you to create or update your signature. @Chopsaw – Chop will race solver to see who can be the first responder. @Joe_Carrick – Joe will say that what you want can be done with a macro and offer to sell you one. @GerryT – Gerry will say that Chief’s macro capabilities are too limited and not worth working with. @DRAWZILLA – Perry will say that he would do it the way Scott does it. @dshall – Scott says that he does it Perry’s way. @Renerabbitt – Rene will say your image is garbage and offer to do it right for a price. @MarkMc – Mark will say that you should have used a cabinet. @glennw – Glenn will say he’s not exactly sure of what you are asking but thinks that Chief can do it and offer an example. @Richard_Morrison – Richard will tell you what you propose is probably illegal and your contract isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on. @DavidJPotter – DJP will tell you that Chief is just a tool and you need to learn how to use it. @Gawdzira – Alan will say “meh” and go back to tattooing his dog. @Kbird1 – Mick will list the links to pertinent KB articles. @HumbleChief – Larry will say he feels your pain. He’s been using Chief for 20 years and still doesn’t get it. @Dermot – Dermot will tell you the program is working as it should and if you disagree you should submit a new feature request. @Alaskan_Son – Michael will tell you that 90% of the info given out on this forum is BS and recommend that you educate yourself or better yet pay him to educate you. So there you have it. All that’s left to say is if you really need help…POST THE PLAN
