You can try different "Roof Groups" to get that condition but not in every case. I usually do it manually by dragging the under roof to the plate line. No jack rafters in Calif. unless its a bearing jack.
-
There are times I use this method but somehow it will select something else and won't open the correct edit DBX.

Every 3d object has a 2d cad block associated to it. What you see on the plan is the 2d cad block associated to it. You must select the object to get the answer to ,what cad block is associated to it, then once you know the answer, you can then just open "cad block management " tool and change it to the new cad block. I'm sure there is a video on it at Chief.

GAVE YOU SOME REPS, THANKS

I think I can just re-size it and use it for the 6" x 14" vents and the 18" x 24" underfloor access.
-
Thanks , buddy

No, you should have made a copy and sent that one forward. You can retrieve the older X5 plan in the archives.
-
Scott, Are those Chief's underfloor vents or some custom vent? I don't remember seeing those in the lib. They look nice.

When you insert a cad block on the plan, you should be able to unblock it using the "unblock" tool on your edit toolbar or pull down menu. You can also just create a new cad block and block it, it automatically goes into the cad block DBX and just use that one instead.
-
also you ma be able to create a stretch zone with a copy of that symbol
-
You could also use a molding p-line for the curb
-
Yes you did, and rather extensively. It also worked. Maybe a change in X6??

I think in some views the finish has to do with "Rooms" layer. Sorry Joey, didn't read your post above

your floor defaults are probably not set for what you want so every time you rebuild it will revert back to the default. always try to set up defaults before drawing the plan. -
Add "WP" to the cad block. Find the cad block and insert it on the plan , unblock it and change it, then block it again. Change the name to something you will recognize. with the outlet selected, open the 3d symbol DBX and change the cad block to the new one.
