  1. I can see it's there, just too light, try to increase the lineweight in the patterns layer or edit the material to have a darker line, not sure without seeing the plan
  2. Did you happen to paint the interior walls of that room, that also happens with showers if you paint the walls with tile. Try to use the new "Wall material region tool" instead when you have glass, and change the walls back to default.
  3. Thanks Chief for giving us a great tool that very few know how to use.
  4. You can also export to Rescheck and those numbers should be there and you can check them
  5. The conditioned area is not necessarily the square footage of the house ,it depends on the design, but that is a big difference, not sure what you have though.
  6. Nice video Scott, yep the only way is really to manipulate the auto detail, to get the section correct like he wants it unless somehow you use pony walls and a manual slab floor.
  7. I have been using Ccleaner for many years now and clean my registry every Saturday, the default settings have never givien me any problems-ever. I don't even back the registryup anymore.
  8. You can adjust the conditioned area of the house in the room DBX and from there you can get the conditioned area from the material list.
  9. The 2 headers need to be connected using a hanger or an "H" angle. Scott did you use a wall material region for that wood siding, that's a perfect use for that tool.
  10. Using Ccleaner did you also clean the registry, that can also slow everything down if cluttered up.
  11. Just add the lib. wall to the plan, then select all the walls you want to change, and go to your wall DBX, and the wall you added from the lib will be in that DBX to select from. Any wall you put on the plan will automatically add it to the wall DBX.
  12. They are done all the time and we really don't use structural glass ,we cantilever beams, done very simply in residences. I don't think the window frame has anything to do with it, if I understand you correctly.
  13. It must be hard for Chief to design the program with all the different systems out there.
  14. yep, I have never use the auto place outlets , they have never worked correctly for me.
  15. You can copy the plan to a new template. There will be repair though.
  16. Isn't using the sub-fascia and the fascia the same thing, In that case you don't need shadow boards. if you need a built up fascia then yes.
  17. Just delete the shadow boards and use the sub fascia and fascia to what you want them to be very simple, the rafters will then go to the outside plate line
  18. Actually I do use the Ceiling height of 18" for the Crawl Space, just no ceiling finish. Min 18" clearance is needed for a typ. Crawl, but sometimes it could be 36" depending on how high the floor to grade is. The 18" is really to the grade with no slab. I always have to draw the grade line in every section, it would be nice if the program did that.
  19. I use "Screencast", they say anyone can watch them from there b/c you upload to their website, they do all the work from there. But I just do video's using the cameras. I never liked walkthru's
