  1. I have been learning it recently, and I will have to get use to it. I have lots of thick walls and jogs and niches, and it would be a good test. I have the e7100 and it work fine. I'm still not ready for prime time yet, and I'm talking about me not the program. One thing I wish it had was a way to archive my measurements (dimensions) within the program, and leave them on all the time. I want a record of the original measurements. Without that , not sure I can use it. I have an ipad.
  2. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO HAVE ANY 2 MIRRORS TO REFLECT INTO EACH OTHER. If one doesn't reflect maybe the mirrors reflect button isn't turned on.
  3. Larry, I didn't spend a lot of time checking everything, but I can see in your video that it still doesn't have the correct "stem wall top settings" @ -31, that should be a -24 like the slab, those should be the same, then you would have to change some of the footings/ stem walls individually. Look at the diagram Chief gives you, doesn't look correct does it. In a mono slab setting "c" and "d" should be the same.
  4. OK guys, if anyone is the a**, its me, and don't you forget it.
  5. Same thing here, mostly fixed, still some work to do on the floor to floor cripple walls FLOOR HEIGHTS SOMEWHAT FIXED.plan
  6. I don't think you can just install your old SSD in the new computer without re-format and install windows again b/c all the hardware is different with different config's, so IMO, it won't work. Your better off with a new install using that old SSD anyway. you also could be looking for trouble down the road.
  7. Thank you sir, I'm always for anything that saves time.
  8. NVidia is coming out this week with a fix, at least they say. Watch for it.
  9. Chief says they have been testing with Windows 10 without any problems so far.
  10. Agree with Joe, it just not the way I would do it.
  11. Not exactly sure what you are looking for but here is a typ. slab floor in your plan, mostly automatic with a very little touch up. shangri las cop w- slab floorsy.plan
  12. I would use custom ceiling definition showing the all the framing in each room. If there is a floor above then it would be a custom floor definition from above. These are found in the structure section. You can now have multiple framing in ceilings and floors, I do it all the time to get the model correct. Soffits do not frame or that would be easier. your situation look a bit complicated and will take some work though. You can also just pull down walls and add a 2nd floor to get that look but it is possible.
  13. I use invisible walls along side of the flared stairs, set the stairs as winders ,and they will follow the walls. As for the railing , what you do should work as it looks custom.
  14. I couldn't get the deck direction to change either.
  15. What's ugly is very subjective, I might just love your ugly stuff.
  16. Try to keep all your colors on the dark side or you won't see them unless you print in black and white. I always print in Grayscale for large format printing looks pretty good. Turn off the color button and view your screen to test it. You can also change the line thickness. I use line weights of 15 to 200 depending on what it is .
  17. Here is a sample of a framing plan. I do it with cad, Chief doesn't address this at all.
  18. Don't listen to them, they are all nuts. Good luck with all that.
  19. Not if you put the whole house fan in that bathroom.
  20. Larry, It seems to me that a door from a bath to a kitchen was not code, but it could have changed, not sure. Just something I have remembered since birth.
  21. There seem to be something underneath the shingles, almost like your texture and pattern are showing but they are different.
