Template plans have everything already there, so back it up. Lib's and Jobs are automatically backed up to Carbonite, and another back up with a mirror of the H.D.

Are you using old symbols? -update your lib. catalogs. You didn't say which version you came from so, not sure Check that the layers are on in that camera"s layer-set. Post the plan.

I use the lib. for all my cad details, better yet, they are already on the template layout and I don't have to import anything. I like it so far, but I can see why some people use the lib warehouse plan. To each there own.

I'm wondering, David, if you have some changes to several buildings, do you have to make new symbols, every time. That seems like a lot of extra work, and it would be great if Chief could figure a way to update the symbols. Never tried your method but I really don't run into that kind of thing very often. I can and do usually keep it all in the same plan.

A lot of us here have long ago forgot everything X1 does, I'm not sure if the materials list was very accurate back then. It also could be something you are doing.

Yes, it's all automatic, if you have your platform height correct.

The problem for me with a clean install is that it takes about 3 days for me to re-install all my app's. Don't have an extra 3 days for that right now.
