JKEdmo
I saw X18 was released today. Looking forward to using. Question to the beta testers: any big issues with crashes or bringing forward X17 drawings? Or, is it ready enough to download and start using? Thanks! I'd like to know also.. in the past I've always waited after a few updates before uploading, however this one sounds like it will have new tools I can use right away. tundra_dweller
I would take the leap. I've been using X18 exclusively for about the past month, both bringing a few projects forward from X17 and new projects. I can't think of anything from X17 that is "broken" or is compromised in any way. There are some great new tools/features that are big improvements. I think there are a few things with the new X18 features that probably need to be refined somewhat, but I'm happy with X18 overall. Edit: I just now noticed that X18 official was just released, I have not used this latest version yet. Garybills
I've been using it for a couple months on my new laptop with RTX 5080 and haven't had any issues. Just updated the latest version and Rabbitt's pro plan update and everything is running great.

ComputerMaster86
Wednesday's release fixed a bug I had with the new 3D cladding, along with some other things that people have reported. Renee mentioned in his video some things he personally reported and some other things he didn't get around to reporting were fixed. I'd say go in head first and try her out. I honestly haven't had any major troubles the past few weeks. They even added a free little desert in Wednesday's release. Basic Math for input boxes that contain angles.

Your comment about Chief needing to polish the product resonated. That's one thing that has been on my mind since moving to Chief from Autocad. Overall I find Chief a better product, but ACAD is in general more polished, which makes for better user experience. Glad Chief is working on this.
