  1. Structure tab of wall you want framed through...Double wall>Furred wall Then use the edit handle to extend the wall and it should work fine. P.S. Whenever possible, its good to attach the whole plan (at least as much as possible), there are often times other intricacies of the plan that may be affecting the problem, or that may be affected by the solution.
  2. Can you please just attach the plan?
  3. They're actually quite easy to make from scratch. Do you have a particular example of what you're looking for?
  4. One more thing. If you're running on a wireless router and other computers in the house are using it, I've found that the speed can be cut SUBSTANTIALLY by the other computers in the house if they're running. I assume the speed would have to be divided up between all computers. Not sure if that would show up on the speed test or not, but something to think about.
  5. I decided to up my internet speed after your thread started. Started to realize all those little "waiting periods" however slight were adding up quite a bit during the day. The time I save should easily pay for the extra expense (as long as I use that time to do work).
  6. I hope other people will take note of the good things that can happen when you post the plan. As always, nice work Jintu ! And nice work for posting the plan gold333 !
  7. Something I just kinda noticed for the first time, and not sure I've ever really utilized it, but under the cabinet tools there is a shelf tool. Tray dividers seem like a perfect use. They just need to be made to the correct height and width and inserted into the cabinet. That tool could have came in quite handy for me in the past.
  8. Tommy, issue must have been fixed because I just had a large job where all the outlets were in the base trim and I didn't have to send the outlets to my user library to fix it. The offset in the symbol dbx worked just fine.
  9. We're actually just trying to be helpful Joey, I've seen probably hundreds of posts that never get answered simply because the OP never posted the plan. Its just a simple request.
  10. You might have guessed correctly, however there have been 9 posts and no answer...you might not give a rats @$$ but you have to admit if the plan were posted it may only take 1 "guess".
  11. Dang! I don't quite know how to take that : ) I don't have a Mac, but in CA's print dbx, try switching to a normal printer instead of the "save as pdf" printer and see if another option shows up down near the bottom of the print dbx. And if that doesn't work, see if any other options show up here... Just a few ideas that came to mind. Hope you figure something out one way or another.
  12. Mac DOES have a built-in PDF printer however I'm not sure it can be accessed via Chief's printing DBX. You might try downloading a PDF printer. Like David, I used CutePDF for a long time with no problems, however I started needing to do a lot more PDF editing and switched to PDF 24 and then to a paid program called Nitro Pro 9 which I have been very happy with. Downside is that none of the above are available for Mac. There are some though...maybe try this one out... http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/49721/pdfwriter
  13. I don't know Joe's reasoning for using multiple plan files (other than organization), however the more bits and pieces a plan has, the slower it gets, CAD details in particular can slow a plan down a lot. Keeping the plan small is good.
  14. Scott, I'm curious... Are you using Chief's built in "print To PDF" option, a built in PDF printer on the Mac, or a 3rd party PDF printer?
  15. I might note that if the plan is small enough, you don't even have to zip it. It can just be attached directly (which wasn't always possible in the past when .PLAN files weren't permitted).
  16. I guess the real question is... Is a potato a tater or a tator?
  17. See if this looks right Dock Changes Problem-3.plan
  18. Sorry, almost forgot, you also have to extend the 2 deck edges that have been covered by the shed walls so they meet each other (which also requires placing a break in the shed wall that crosses one of those deck edges). AND, I think you have to open that shed room twice during the process to check that aforementioned box.
  19. I think I figured it out. Open the "shed" room and under the deck tab, check "Keep Deck Framing After Deck Room Is Deleted". Seems to work okay after that.
  20. I messed around with it for about 15 minutes and couldn't find anything either. Very strange. Not sure why you want to get rid of the shed, but if you want to avoid redrawing the plan, another option would be to change the shed walls to invisible walls or put them on their own layer and turn them off.
  21. Sorry, not an answer to your question, but in downloading your plan I realized something...Since when have we been allowed to attach a .PLAN file!!?
  22. Attach the plan along with a camera set up where you want it and maybe someone will help you out.
