  1. Anytime Rob...Glad to be of help!
  2. No kidding?! I don't know how anything is being built down there with all the regulations and specs you have to submit with your drawings.
  3. If this helps: 2015 IRC code (Not sure what CA code is) M1502.4.5.1 Specified length. The maximum length of the exhaust duct shall be 35 feet (10 668 mm) from the connection to the transition duct from the dryer to the outlet terminal. Where fittings are used, the maximum length of the exhaust duct shall be reduced in accordance with Table M1502.4.5.1. The maximum length of the exhaust duct does not include the transition duct. 4. I think the winder on the general tab and the winder specification on Style tab where you specify how many inches for "max tread contraction" act separately from each other.
  5. Do you have winders checked? Uncheck if you do and try again.
  6. Anytime! Enjoy I made it in Sketchup
  7. Rob see if this will work for you.Vanity Light.calibz P.S. Forgot to add a picture. Vanity Light.calibz
  8. Use CleanUp plugin by ThomThom in Sketchup before you export your model.
  9. Let her start with HD and see if that will cut it for what she needs to do before she shells out almost 3k, she can always upgrade down the road. I know a few contractors who use HD and that is more than enough for what they do.
  10. Look at the rug thickness and set that amount "Off The Floor" distance on the furniture. So if your rug is 3/4" open DBX on your furniture and set 3/4 off the floor height
  11. You can select joist and set the transparency so you can see the labels. You can select the post and select labels and change offset to -2 or something like this, you can select joist and remove the solid fill. There is a number of ways you can do this.
  12. I don't have that issue, pony wall works as it should.
  13. Is this what you trying to do? Your walls were also a mess, you had all kinds of things going on there, not to mention many walls were misaligned. I fixed some of them but you need to check the rest. PLAN 6-14.plan
  14. Uncheck layers to hide anything you don't want to be seen. Terrain, foundations, footing, etc.
  15. As always, great video Mike and very helpful! Thank you!
  16. Matt, Shoot me PM here and leave your email and we will take it from there. Thanks!
  17. make sure all your room heights have "default room height checked" and if you want to have a certain room to be the different height you set the desired height for that room only.
  18. Thanks for clearing that! I was just wondering what they were and I thought that textures and everything else related to the library items are packed into calibz file.
  19. I'm trying to clean up my PC, and I ran WinDirStat program and I see that I have in ProgramData\Chief Architect Premier X8\Referenced Files folder a bunch of library zip files which amount to tens of GB. Do you need this files for any reason or they just there for when library files being installed and can they be deleted? Thanks!
  20. It's not about adding or subtracting, it makes no sense going to the center of framing because when you do your layout you snap your lines to the edge of framing and you work all your dimensions from that line or edge of the plates.
  21. Never seen a plan with center dimensions... Always to the face-framing. Kitchens, etc always to the face of sheetrock surface.
