I don’t use MAC OS myself but many other Users I know do, and I am not sure if this is new in Catalina OS, the latest update ?, but I have had to show People numerous times in the last month or two, how to both turn Scrollbars and the Mouse Right Click Buttons on, some didn't even realize their Mice had a Right Click option. 1. MAC OS seems to have its Scrollbars Turned Off by Default, so they aren’t seen in Chief either after Enabling them in View > Scrollbars Go to > System Preferences > (search) ScrollBar Behaviors at top left > Open > and Set Scrollbars to Always in the 2nd section. 2. MAC OS also seems to have its Mouse Right Click turned Off by Default too in some cases, so it also can’t be used in Chief , for example in the Project Browser in Plan Views > Open Object or create a New Cad Detail by Clicking On the CAD Details Header, or to Edit Page Information in a Layout. Go to > System Preferences > Mouse > place a Check in the box for Secondary Button by Clicking on it ( If desired the Secondary button can be your Left or Right Click eg if you are left handed, choose appropriately ). It is simply because different Versions of the Chief Software require Different Answers sometimes to your questions on the Forum, Ie there are Features and Things that Interiors cannot do compared to Premier , and features in x11 or x12 not in X9 etc etc. M.

Cos of your broken Monitor I suggest you open Preferences and Reset Options > Reset the Side Windows , so everything is now back in the Chief Main window.

don't remember exactly but I think there was an Upgrade Button in my Locker , which needed clicking 1st , then the Download was available. You can start two Instances of X11 by holding the Ctrl Key as you Start the 2nd copy and it will ignore the two copies warning , just don't work in Plan with two copies open , this works fine for copying Logos and Text boxes etc from one layout to the other though. PS , I'd email CS or Sales too ( since in Scotland) if you think you SSA makes you eligible for access to the Beta Version and it isn't. M.

It's not in Her signature , it should be as there maybe different answers for it vs Premier occasionally, but She mentioned X11 Interiors in Her 1st Post , which is why I thought that maybe why there is no download available for X12 Beta.

Some stuff can be copied from one layout to another , which is much easier now in X12 but there is no quick "conversion tool" if that is what you are asking. You should start with one of the Metric Templates in the Templates Folder , they all have M on the end of the file name. There is also Ansi Layouts in the Layout Border Folder>Metric too.

I am not sure if Interiors has a Beta version ? , that maybe the difference at this time but I believe that SSA must be current to Mar. or April also.... ie past the expected Full Release Date but worth a call tomorrow morning to Sales to confirm. M.

Beta should be in your digital locker then I think... M.

Not sure if there is a beta version ...see your digital locker if your SSA is upto date, ( no... you have X10 , I see now) but the full Release is usually Late Feb , but I have no inside Info on that. If you are still on X10 then it maybe cheaper to upgrade now and having SSA again will mean you get X12 as well ... I think a 1 version upgrade is $695? ( vs $525 to keep SSA Active) M.

I too had a small SSD for many years , so for along time I used Windows 10 ability to "relocate" Libraries to another Drives to give the Small SSD some breathing room. For example I Move the Location of My Documents to D:\Documents --- This in turn moves the Chief Data Folder(s) to D: too as Chief automatically installs the Data Folder in My Documents, (Documents in Win10)..... I also keep my Client Folders/Plans in My Documents for the same Reason, I then backup My Documents to an external 8TB USB Drive Daily too. ( for this reason I leave my User Library in the Data folder too) I also Moved the Downloads, Pictures, Videos, and Music Folders to D:\ Make these New Folders on D:\ 1st , then move their Location to the new Folder and agree to move all files to the new Folder. This is one of the Tutorials I 1st used to do the above "move", their is actually a Tutorial for each of Windows "Libraries" but the method is the same for each. https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/74952-move-location-documents-folder-windows-10-a.html I have also made Folders for CA-Undo and CA-Temp On my fastest SSD Personally I don't like having my only copy of anything only in the Cloud , and now you have 1TB there is no need for you to either , just use it for "backup" or Onsite/Mobility needs or accessing from another computer. Whether it makes things run faster I am not sure...... Now you have more Room you can in the future install other Programs to D:\ instead of C:\ though, rather than just letting their Installer put in it C:\ by Default , make a D:\Programs Folder and Install Programs there instead. If on a MAC you may also need to re-enable the Scrollbars Under System Preferences by setting them to be Always On , I have see this happening since Catalina was released. M

Reversed ? shouldn't they have Cedar Lap siding on the "Exterior Side? or are you using the if Butting Roof Setting? You know Posting the Plan is the best way to get help .......

I don't believe so , I am not aware of any issues with compatibility between Os's but best to post this in the Q&A Section as I am not a Mac User . Also do a search on MAC BOOK PRO 16" on the Forums I have seen a couple of posts in the last\ week or two about them... M.

You can pretty much add anything to the Room Info Box that the %Objects_Properties% Macro can see eg whether it's conditioned or not. This is the simple one above....refreshed in X12 .............................MHD Room Block_X12.calibz M.

I may not understand why you are using the Polyline but in this case wouldn't the Auto Area Label in the Default Room Label or a Text box with some of Chief Standard Macros suffice? I have one blocked in the Library and just drop it in , when needed. M.

The SKP VERSION (year) is important though , Chief usually is able to import the .skp from 1 year behind the Chief Version Release year ie for X11 in 2019, the .skp will need to be the 2018 version.

In X12 you can set it to use the Box Header and make the Depth 1/16 ( smallest) and it will still add the top and bottom 2x4 , so it looks like what you want.....not sure what it does to the ML though.

Like this ? this can't be done Auto in X11......it will only build the (1) 2x4 on the flat , you then need to copy it and move it up. There are New Headers Types in X12 , so I'd need to try it there and see if it's possible

This is a good thread , with two slightly different ways to do Fascia Mounted Railings depending on the Corner details, pity this is not yet one of the Auto Options yet. you need to put the bottom down in elevation while the railing is temporarily set back to a wall ( railing unchecked)

If you assumed you could explode the House Symbol in the Terrain Plan you were assuming incorrectly , as a symbol it is just a bunch of "faces" ie a hollow box. You would need to do the Opposite as Rene said , use the same technique to turn the Terrain into a Symbol and bring it into the House Plan, just make sure the Terrain is Finished 1st as once again, once it is a symbol it can no longer be exploded or edited as normal.
