  1. Was playing with Gimp and built a quick material for another user asking for it on the forum. Setup to be 3/4" T&G AdvanTech Subflooring counted by sheet and show as 1/2 offset. Advantech .75%22 Subflooringcalibz.calibz
  2. Had a minute and thought might as well play with Gimp which I recently downloaded and hadn't tried yet. Here is a 3/4" 4x8 sheet size 1/2 offset Advantech subflooring material. Advantech .75%22 Subflooringcalibz.calibz
  3. Just to add to this good advice, you can if you need to for your material takeoff for example copy the OSB material and rename it Advantech 3/4" T&G Subflooring. If you really were specific enough you can actually get a picture and just create it from scratch as well but I don't think I would ever see a need to actually see the advantech logo on a rendering or 3d view. Maybe if you were doing a 3d detail or something I guess. But it is doable.
  4. Seems I have seen a hyperlink done directly in chief recently???
  5. Try looking for an under counter refrigerator if that is what you are looking for with the bar refrigerator.
  6. Sorry if asking a question offended you. What I was trying to get across was that it is a very simple thing to search or even just test quickly in Chief. In fact would have taken a lot less time to search the question or try it in Chief. In answer to your question yes you can dimension to framing members.
  7. Haven’t tried this but seems a thick countertop with edge profile would also work? personally I just modeled something similar and needed to show a border with a different pattern/texture. I made it out of 2 solids very quickly.
  8. I stand corrected but I believe you actually only need 3. @glennw taught me years ago that you can do a single radius roof plane for the center part, but you would need as you mention the concave roof planes on each side in this case.
  9. Are these new cabinets you are placing? If so, see this: If it is existing cabinets in a plan then you probably used the plan or room painter mode when "painting" materials to an existing item. If this is the case then you can select the Material painter tool, you will get a popup asking what texture you want to apply. In that dbx there is the option to use the library or the plan materials on the left. Select the plan materials list and at the very top of that list is Use Default. Select this and make sure you are in Plan apply mode (It should pop up in the edit toolbar (OOB edit toolbar is at the bottom of the window). Now apply that texture on ANYTHING that is showing that material on it. Moving forward I would recommend that you read this article: https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00793/using-the-different-material-painter-modes.html#:~:text=The Material Painter modes help, material to an object component. Hope this helps.
  10. Well that's good to know its some other kidder. Anyways if you are still trying to figure that out post the public link or send me the file and I would be happy to take a look to see if I can sort it out for you.
  11. Giving a downvote for that? Really? Man I guess @Bob_Johnstondidn't like that even though I tried to tell him another possibility of why that is happening and stating that I am unable to download the plan to help further because it is not shared properly get's me a downvote?
  12. 1 curved roof plane and some messing around. Although dont recall if we had the same roof plane control for curved roofs in x10???
  13. Send it as plot lines not as a live view.
  14. Well something is set incorrectly. Maybe the layer of the invisible wall is set to go past? Can't download the plan without logging into one drive. I don't use onedrive.

  16. Use a custom molding profile on your shadowboard setting.
  17. Either give your paint a thickness or delete it.
  18. Really depends on what you are trying to do, and what software you have. Since you do not have a signature filled out we cannot tell. There are several methods and the ultimate answer is depending on what you are you trying to model for a cabinet manufacturer to build from or are you just trying to get a rendering for it? Do you want the doors angled as well? Many will place a full wall and then a doorway without jamb and casing and place a square cabinet in the location, or even several. If you are looking for a true angled cabinet you will need to build some custom doors. Check out this previous post.
  19. If you want to do it with auto roofs you will do an open below room and set the walls to invisible, setting the roof pitch/overhang, etc. on those three walls in front of the garage door. But honestly faster to place a manual roof or ceiling plane setting it to specs (I use a ceiling plane if I don't want to turn off auto-roofs and set my layers accordingly.) You will have to place the beam and corbels or posts manually using the framing tools.
  20. Yeah I don't call it a portico either. The most common name I have heard is an eye-brow or an awning roof.
  21. I prefer the Logitech G602 but it is discontinued. I found a couple of extras on eBay so stocked up. Used to use the magic mouse which in itself is a phenomenal mouse but the g602 with its programmable buttons is a game changer for Chief.
  22. Was thinking he meant maybe something more like this?
  23. I believe it is a regional description problem. A portico in most areas refers to a porch style roof that sticks out from an entry. Do you maybe mean an "eyebrow" roof over a garage door?
