  1. None of the problems of the past versions. In the past I had issues with text boxes but with x6-x7 everything was smooth.
  2. Random crashes more with X7 than any other version. I just had a crash upon trying to save a molding to the library. Very simple polyline shape.
  3. Some one stop me from procrastinating...
  4. Presumably you had saved the file that was sent to layout at some point (or many points). If so, then you have a series of back ups in your archives. What is your auto back up setting time period? I have my set pretty short so I get autosaves about every 120 seconds. You may have a file in the archives that is a short period of time behind the corrupt file?
  5. Sounds good. I saw a heated sweatshirt by Milwaukee Tools at Home Depot the other day. That should do the trick.
  6. Ohh Kevin, don't try and confuse us with facts and figures.
  7. I am forever chastising carpenters who I see using a table saw without a push stick. I always have one on site or pick up a piece of scrap. This item might actually be bright enough to stay with the saw. http://www.3dpushblock.com/
  8. That last one was a little too small on my taskbar. Seriously, I am on a deadline so the rest of your icons will have to wait....
  9. One more for those in fear of CA copyright infringements. I present a Fox copyright infringement. Homer G7.ico
  10. In Photoshop Elements, File - > Process multiple files
  11. bump for the create your own icon camp.
  12. Scott, please don't be the poster child for the kid who could have gotten a really quick and easy solution if he had just posted the plan but instead the monsters living under his bed ate his brain while he was sleeping and stole his baseball glove. Please.
  13. I agree with Arthur about converting to text. But, you can delete columns. Double click the schedule to bring up the DBX. You have two boxes which show available and used. Move accordingly.
  14. Westworld (or a computer model), Where nothing can go wrong…go wrong…go wrong…
  15. Bob, post that plan and layout via drop box. I know there is a very simple solution that you are not seeing. The best way to get that out so someone can help is to make a folder called Full Back UP or something similar. File - > Back up entire plan, from your layout view
  16. Does throwing them in a CAD detail keep them live? I put them into layout but shrink my layout box to be only the schedules that way I can arrange them in layout to suit. I usually have schedules on multiple pages so it is easy to reference the schedule when viewing in plan or elevations.
  17. What were the steps you took last year that are not working this year? What does the detail you are looking for look like? Can you upload a sketch to illustrate?
  18. This may be way off base but are the schedules on in the roof plan and the layout box is overlapping?
  19. My Building Construction Illustrated is 1st edition. I also have an Architectural Graphic Standards that is 5th edition but that was a hand me down.
  20. How is this information presented? Do you type in a number on a callout on the elevation view? That is how I call it out. That and name my topo lines with a number. Those don't have to be the actual number inside of CA.
  21. I am using x7 for production work and would not turn back.
  22. Good info Arthur. I did not consider that. But, as a standard method of drafting, this makes no sense and the behavior should be that labels show on exterior walls you can see only. I sent in the report but now I think this needs to move to suggestions if that is indeed the case.
