  1. Or he wants flying monkeys with cherubs pouring wine with Rubenesque ladies dancing to flute music wearing nothing but a smile (and who doesn't). Hard to know without a picture. Yours is probably more correct than mine. I had been calling these (the one I posted) items corbels for the longest time but was recently corrected and now I am calling them knee braces.
  2. Here is one. These are very easy to make based on the design you are after. Knee Brace Craftsman.calibz
  3. Anyone else get the My Little Pony song stuck in their head when they see this thread title? O.k., maybe it is just me....
  4. Hide the layers that you don't want to move.
  5. An easy way to grab all the textures you are using in a file is to do a full back up. All the texture images will be contained in the folder. File -> Back up Entire Plan
  6. What he said, in a picture: Select you layout box and then open the dbx for it to verify which anno set is associated.
  7. Don, you have posted in the area where people advertise to offer help rather than seek help.
  8. My problem with the tables is that I can not choose a draw order on those symbols. It is also random. I will bring in a chair and table and all is well. Then I copy the chair and it is no longer below the table.
  9. Riddle me this? Those are tables.
  10. I have actually written to my Senator with this complaint. Most of the time I make a fake surface to hide the stool or chair. Polyline with fill.
  11. Jon, is that Jello? Looks delicious.
  12. Do your copy of the plan file using the Edit Area copy command. That can copy all floors at once.
  13. You can place an outlet floating in space but the electrical items from the library don't seem to want to drop into layout. You would need to build your legend in a plan file and then bring the legend from the plan file to the layout file. Or make a cad based one that you store in the library and then drop into layout. See image for an easy outlet to float for creating the legend. My electrical legend which is partially made from cad lines for the electrical items Chiefs legend location
  14. With Auto refresh on, you can not reposition the dimension strings after creation. I am not sure I like that very much. Without Auto Refresh on you can reposition but if you hit Auto dim again you will get a second dimension string in the old location but not doubles of the not moved ones.
  15. Nice Mick. I guess I don't use Auto Dimensions enough.
  16. Sorry Bill. Just trying to add some levity to a Friday. I did not mean to anger you.
  17. They don't override each other. They would be additive just like you are witnessing.
  18. If I raytrace the siding looks black.
  19. I always deal with the RCP through layers. The doors showing as closed is done by turning off doors and turning on door headers. That way there is still an indication of where the door opening is. Creating a different (non live) plan is asking for trouble.
  20. Bill you forgot to mention that you could also change your own oil in your truck, smash atoms for your own fuel source and have a cow in your back yard if you want to put cheese on your sandwich. All of which are a little too much work to make sense.
