  1. Draw invisible walls (room divider walls) and then build your roof on top of that. For that matter, build real walls and delete them after you build the roof and place some poly solids for posts where you want them. Or...
  2. You might be seeing the casing layer turned on? You might be seeing monkeys? Hard to tell without an image.
  3. Almost never crashed in x6. Some random crashes in x7 beta. x7 full is crashing 2-3 times a day (4-8 hours of drafting). The library is causing freezing. Camera views the other problems. Edit, changed my auto save to 2 mins due to the issues.
  4. If you had attached drawings it did not come with the post. The attachment process is 2 steps (buttons).
  5. Find it and copy / paste. See my path:
  6. None of the problems of the past versions. In the past I had issues with text boxes but with x6-x7 everything was smooth.
  7. Random crashes more with X7 than any other version. I just had a crash upon trying to save a molding to the library. Very simple polyline shape.
  8. Some one stop me from procrastinating...
  9. Presumably you had saved the file that was sent to layout at some point (or many points). If so, then you have a series of back ups in your archives. What is your auto back up setting time period? I have my set pretty short so I get autosaves about every 120 seconds. You may have a file in the archives that is a short period of time behind the corrupt file?
  10. Sounds good. I saw a heated sweatshirt by Milwaukee Tools at Home Depot the other day. That should do the trick.
  11. Ohh Kevin, don't try and confuse us with facts and figures.
  12. I am forever chastising carpenters who I see using a table saw without a push stick. I always have one on site or pick up a piece of scrap. This item might actually be bright enough to stay with the saw. http://www.3dpushblock.com/
  13. That last one was a little too small on my taskbar. Seriously, I am on a deadline so the rest of your icons will have to wait....
  14. One more for those in fear of CA copyright infringements. I present a Fox copyright infringement. Homer G7.ico
  15. In Photoshop Elements, File - > Process multiple files
  16. bump for the create your own icon camp.
  17. Scott, please don't be the poster child for the kid who could have gotten a really quick and easy solution if he had just posted the plan but instead the monsters living under his bed ate his brain while he was sleeping and stole his baseball glove. Please.
  18. I agree with Arthur about converting to text. But, you can delete columns. Double click the schedule to bring up the DBX. You have two boxes which show available and used. Move accordingly.
  19. Westworld (or a computer model), Where nothing can go wrong…go wrong…go wrong…
  20. Bob, post that plan and layout via drop box. I know there is a very simple solution that you are not seeing. The best way to get that out so someone can help is to make a folder called Full Back UP or something similar. File - > Back up entire plan, from your layout view
  21. Does throwing them in a CAD detail keep them live? I put them into layout but shrink my layout box to be only the schedules that way I can arrange them in layout to suit. I usually have schedules on multiple pages so it is easy to reference the schedule when viewing in plan or elevations.
  22. What were the steps you took last year that are not working this year? What does the detail you are looking for look like? Can you upload a sketch to illustrate?
