They do not seal when up. At least with the Mocket ones. That is the one I have installed. The thing to check when you spec these is how deep they are so you need to reserve that space. https://www.mockett.com/pcs77-23g.html?gclid=CjwKCAjwzuqgBhAcEiwAdj5dRoLNR1gAN3ER8y7cVf0nyy0x7JSBFoYeuYhbqxXcEkm2L2L8w2phKxoCMB4QAvD_BwE

Thanks @Alaskan_Son . I appreciate the effort. I changed the door style and so it may be something with X15 and that catalog.

@SabGroup Thanks for taking a look. I am confused. This what I am seeing. Some do, some don't. I have closed and opened multiple times to see if it was a refresh issue.

This image is x14

I have not tested this yet in X14 but this image is from x15. The cabinet on the left is a full ht. cab and the right side is a wall cabinet. I can not get opening indicators to show in the wall cabinets. There are multiple in this plan and the settings are the same in the dbx for opening indicators to show (default). Is this a known issue or something I am doing wrong? EDIT orginally posted with wrong file link. Corrected kitchen v15 base cab elevations.plan

I think the intention is to seek more top surface/pop up outlets to be installed instead of the outlets on the end of the peninsula or island. But, the way this is written is setting up a lack of island and peninsula outlets. I can agree that the face of the cabinet end or face of the cabinet (like in a pilaster type design placement) is not ideal for where the cord becomes an obstacle is not ideal but eliminating them is certainly creating a situation where we might see an extension cord run to power up a mixer or some other small appliance.
-
I am not reading it that way. This is not an either/or. It is a yes but choose 1,2 or 3 and 3 still needs a power line run for future.

NEC code 2023 calls for island outlet changes. No more outlets below the countertop level! https://alisonsolar.com/new-electric-codes/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=Big+changes+to+the+new+2023+National+Electric+Codes!&utm_campaign=Blog+2023&vgo_ee=gTcUW1ZBvljhcFYFB%2F22VSzs7CfPgE8fE7CgDS1pV0U%3D

This would be better sent in to tech support than noted as a suggestion.

Does your digital locker have this?

This does not look like a good candidate for a floating dormer. I would build that with walls and roof planes.

For a site plan? 3d? If for 3d, search this site for "plumbing riser diagram"

I usually do this with poly solids. Some subtraction and then put a hood unit inside. Generally one of the pro GE or Viking ones.

What is a "patio header"? Is that a regional term? -
Carmel by the Sea counts the building area to the outside of the siding. I believe Monterey County does as well.

California CRC - attached garage door?
Gawdzira replied to Gawdzira's topic in Building Codes and Compliance
Thanks, I found this: (pic) But, I am unclear if the exception with fire sprinklers would allow a non 1-3/8" thick door. Like a shaker style panel door? -
Is it still required to have a 20 min. door with self closing hardware on an attached garage to house door? I heard that this was removed from the CRC.

Wall detail - best design with conditioned crawlspace and hung joists

In regards to your sill plate gap, both side are critical nailing locations so I would rip a 2x10 to fit. Also, on the side where the hangers touch the P.T., I would put a strip of peel and stick Bituthane or Zip tape to isolate the metal from the P.T.. Even though you can get Zmax hangers, if you ask the engineers at Simpson (and they are being honest) they will tell you that nothing except stainless steel will survive P.T..
