Did you take overall measurements for rooms? Is so, how does this compare to actual?

Go to the computer with the rendering where you have textures showing, Save a backup copy of the plan file. This will save out all the associated texture files. Open that file on the laptop and see if that fixes the problem. I think you are missing the texture files on the laptop library. If so, you need to fix the library.

While I agree with the solution, this is a fairly common condition that is not easily managed by the stair/wall tools. I think this is something that could use improvement in the program. I will make a proper suggestion when my schedule allows. Currently scheduling suggestions for 2025.

I don't understand why you would shop new on the the Dell site (Dell Outlet site images below)

Try removing the insulation and then redoing the section (wild guessing).

I just checked out the plans. How many spaces would you anticipate needing to have active at any one time? That seems to be the main cost bump item.

Hello Doug, I will be getting my camera in the mail next week and setting up an account. If it is a possibility, maybe we can work something out with me getting a multiple user account and make you the second user? Alan

I read it quickly and thought it said Nude Pictures. This is very disappointing. :)

Someone better start drug testing the carpenters on this job. -
Getting "This is not a valid measurement" message when using a decimal?
Gawdzira replied to Bluneinc's topic in General Q & A
It works for me. I just made a new line and adjusted the length. X13. What is the rest of the workflow. Post a plan file where it does not work. -
I blame the lack of crime scene outline drawings.

Thanks for the info @para-CAD

In searching for info on cameras, it appears the $3.5K price point is about the entry point minimum right now for a camera that will give you and accurate as built for measurements. Is this correct?
-
@para-CAD For the project you shot above, how much time on site? How much time assembling the images? I realize this one might be more extensive due to the the extra info due to the red tag issues. I am trying to get a sense for an as built for a home about that size. Assuming that was about 2500 s.f.? It looks like you did a minimum of 4 cameras set ups per room. When you do close ups like the electrical panel door opening, do you leave the camera set in one position or do you move in closer and then open the door?

If you put the polyline screen in the elevation view, sending to layout will retain the information. If you adjust the elevation/model, you would need to adjust your screen. I have not tested this in the layout view.

When I did this I used a polyline with a white fill set to some random number around 75%, far from automatic anything.

@creatrix Honestly, you are working too hard at this. I highly recommend hiring someone for an hour or two of training. It will pay for itself in the next few hours of working if you get the information to be able to accomplish these tasks without a struggle.

At this step in the process, you can navigate to the image file anywhere on your computer. Take a look at the settings on the texture in my file. It is important that you check the radio button "Stretch to Fit". That is why you sized your card to the image proportions.
-
P.S. I did not use a PDF. This is a .png file so I can ascertain the image size/proportions.

Here is a plan and some info. 1. I found a rug by asking Ms. Google (pronouns unknown) 2. I cropped to clean up and checked the image size in Photoshop for the proper proportions of my poly solid to paste it to. 3. I built some stuff in CA like the rail and the card for the rug then I sized the card for the rug to the proportions to match the image 4. Then I made a texture 5. Then I ate some chips and there are crumbs in the keyboard After viewing it in 3d I made a little bend at the top of the rug to make it appear to drape over the top of the rail. View your project in the plan view to make sure it is not askew. rugged.plan

Thick wall hack. I made a small section of a thinner wall to place the door. I made the casing thick to be similar to your image. Above the header is a cabinet soffit. Hopefully there is an easier way to do this. thick wall hack.plan
