Just move the diamond at the top and they will re-size the column and the image size. You can also check the scale box in the schedule DBX.

I have 12 gb of ram and it really made my system quite a bit faster.

Sometimes I just put the cad block in plan view when I'm in a hurry but no 3d then. Fix it later so I can get them in the schedule

If you send as vector view, plot lines, you will get layer line thickness control settings. Live views you can't.

Those have never worked unless they recently fixed them. they never sat on the cabinet in 3d view they were always 5" away from the cabinet face and had to be adjusted in the symbol DBX. It was that way forever.

At this time Chief doesn't address battered walls ( sloping face). You would have to create it using p-solids or roof planes or a molding p- line. I have seen some others do it but it takes some work that is very custom.

I think it's possible automatically Set the different pitches in the wall DBX

How Do You Change Dimension Call-Out Without Moving Wall
DRAWZILLA replied to capitaldesigns's topic in General Q & A
I thought the line stayed, but I guess not. The text would be added just like normal text. I really never use it anyway but it would solve a lot of others problems who want the line to stay, if it did. -

When you open & save them in X8, they will automatically update but you may have some things to fix and you can't go back, that's why you copy first .

Some Of The Same Lights In The Same Room Do Not Work
DRAWZILLA replied to AgChief's topic in General Q & A
It would be nice if Chief would automatically shut off lights not in the scene for RT's -
I add light sources to brighten scene's up. I put them everywhere.

I wouldn't change the system callouts for 1 client, he needs to learn how it's done. He seems a little green to me.

Larry, try to replace the macro on page "0" maybe they change it somewhat. I have found in the past that sometimes they have changed the macro.
-
I'm not experiencing that, but I use the "A" letters with the page numbers. Not sure what is going on with yours.

If that view is tied to a camera then the view could be pixelated on the layout, this is a new method Chief is using for quicker viewing. Don't worry though b/c it will actually print at high resolution.

Reference Manual & Chief Users Guide (Paper Edition)
DRAWZILLA replied to mecacarl's topic in Sales Related Questions
Those manual's are included with the program, in PDF form, which you can print yourself or pay extra for a printed version. The good thing about PDF's are they are searchable for quick viewing and printing if you might need that.
