  1. I'm simply showing the O.P. what the code is for me. BTW, look at the min 6" winder, it's right there.
  2. Are you talking "auto story pole" dims or just elevation dims?
  3. Thanks Greg, a lot more low profile than mine.
  4. I don't remember where I got that symbol, but it was indeed Scott who created the buzz.
  5. I put all the layers on 1 layer, lock it, then turn on and off as needed so I can trace the walls in Chief. Put them on 1 layer when you import the drawing
  6. Or you can also just type or copy what you need in a macro, for simple text macro's. I use them a lot. The good thing about text macro's is if you change the macro's text, it changes everywhere you have it in the plan, automatically.
  7. Not sure why b/c they are illegal around here
  8. Can you delete it from "cad block management"
  9. If it's in your user catalog then you or someone else created it, you can just right click on it, and delete it. It's not something in Chief's catalogs, if it was then you or someone changed it. Tip:, you really should name your blocks so you know what they are.
  10. Her is what I have fireplace vent.plan
  11. looks like Dave is getting busy, same here too buddy
  12. There are some new metal downloads @ Chief's website in the bonus section, they look pretty good
  13. Use it with a layout template and pre send all cameras to the layout weather they show anything at all or not. You move the cameras in place on the plan, and the layout shows automatically. big time saver. set up once and done forever.
  14. We have never been able to copy cameras, you now have to set up each one separately. total time loser if you ask me. But if you use a template plan with the cameras already saved, then it's not so bad. I never create cameras anymore.
  15. I think this should always be checked, so this doesn't happen.
  16. Chief has lots of tools to deal with this, Using the material painter you can change, just the component, all component's in the room, items on the entire floor, items in the whole plan. very nice time saver
  17. For things you don't see check to see the correct layers are all turned on in the camera layer-set you are using.
  18. Were hoping it slips soon, lots of work for everyone
  19. Very nice, Scott, Boy could I use this. Can't wait
