this method is actually significantly slower in load times...also much quicker in general to put all details in the same xy position so you can simply relink a layout box and having things already centered. Anyway just an FYI, system speed is effected when you have all schedules in one view

Is this truly apples to apples? also what drive are you running on the old one, one hard drive on the new one? are all rendering settings the same on both machines for all views? what do you mean by large files? whats the poly count? are you comparing vector views or raster views?
