  2. Probably different encoder settings, one more gpu intensive, what sample rate are you running in chief?
  3. What is your sample rate at? What are your encoder settings for the recording software?
  4. You could also create a custom window if you want more of the louvered pantry look: Can be complicated to create though
  5. You could also just place the individual letters and rotate around a point using the corresponding edit mode
  6. Hey Neighbor! If you have your dimensions defaults setup really well it should be no issue to bring a dimension string through while zoomed. You could take a look at your reach settings there as well as some other settings. Yes click and drag..I would HIGHLY recommend picking up the spacemouse pro wireless, as this no longer becomes an issue...thats a left hand mouse to go along with your right hand mouse and makes navigating in 3d and 2d a breeze. BTW you could draw a continuous line and this would give you a point to point placement on everything past the initial line segment.
  7. @Dermotchief content over here calling you out on stairs , hehe
  8. Some of these are not properly modeled. Here is a elevation view of the end cut of a volute with the molding profile overlayed:
  9. any chance you would post these on my discord server? https://discord.gg/9R3KZ53mXK
  10. **Quick Tips for Copying Elements Between Floors in Chief Architect** *Published by Rabbitt Design* *Date: December 22, 2023* *Category: Architectural Design Software Tutorial* *Video Length: 1 minute and 16 seconds* **Introduction** We start with a festive greeting and dive into a quick, useful tip for using Chief Architect software. The focus is on copying elements from one floor to another in a 3D view, specifically demonstrating how to replicate windows from the second to the third floor. **Copying Technique in 3D View** We demonstrate the simple process of copying elements in a 3D environment. The video shows how to use the Edit Toolbar to copy and paste elements. We emphasize the ease of this process, highlighting the copy and paste options in the toolbar. **Pasting on a Different Floor** Next, we illustrate the process of navigating to a different floor level and using a hotkey for the 'paste hold position' function. This ensures that the copied elements are accurately placed on the third floor, directly above their original position on the second floor. **Final Result and Quick Tip Conclusion** We conclude by showing the final placement of the windows on the third floor, which align perfectly with the floor below. The video ends with a reinforcement of how quick and efficient this method is for duplicating elements in Chief Architect. **SEO Search Terms:** Chief Architect tutorial, copying in 3D architecture software, quick design tips, efficient floor duplication, architectural software shortcuts, 3D view editing, Chief Architect window replication. 11. Not understanding what you are referring to. A double click where specifically? You're opening a material from your library ot edit it and then trying to do what? or?
  12. just place a symbol that is a 3way from your library, otherwise you need to edit the CAD block and add your annotation for the symbol you are trying to modify. Use CAD Lines set to the electrical connections layer to depict a connection between floors
  13. This type of hardware isn't really practical in terms of integrating into a cabinet. You would need to have a very custom element in order to have a catch that is separate from the latch. If you dont plan on opening the doors in 3d, by all means just make it a single unit and attach it to the door, but the catch will swing with the door if you open it
  14. Custom Stringer is a very easy method if it aligns with the wall above. All you would need is the custom stringer the thickness of the wall
  15. Ah, ok, so this can be done very easily, just add a 1/16" or 1/2" jamb to your shower door and paint it then add the wall covering. Though it looks like your way worked just fine
  16. Sorry I was confused, do you want your tile wainscot to wrap or not wrap?
