DefinedDesign
Hi All! While updating my 3D Library, I noticed that Chief is charging me for the following download, even though I have SSA. Is this a new policy they’ve implemented? 3D Plants - Annuals $3.99 3D Plants - Bulbs $3.99 3D Plants - Climbers $5.99 3D Plants - Edible Garden $9.99 3D Plants - Perennials $9.99 3D Plants - Shrubs $9.99 3D Plants - Trees $7.99 Specialty/Other/Misc - Crime Scene and Fire Investigation $19.99 Specialty/Other/Misc - Medical/Dental $19.

The Crime Scene and Medical are not part of the SSA, so you have to pay for those. They changed that several years back. Thanks Jeff - I am logged in and have a current SSA license. Mark3D
I am pretty sure they charge for 3d plants, and Specialty/Other/Misc I paid for 3d plants it's been that way for a long time

Joe_Carrick
I haven't found any catalogs I can't download free, including 3D Plants.

I just checked and the 3D plans aren't free anymore. Chief must made a change. They should probably address this - because WTF.
JKEdmo
I have a full permanent X16 license. There are a few catalogs Chief still charges for.

Joe_Carrick
I do see they are charging for the Crime Scene & Fire Investigation and the Medical/Dental. But I got those free long ago and they still get updated. All of the 3D Plants are showing as free with SSA on my system.
ValleyGuy
I don't even show those particular 3D options, not even under search. I see the Crime Scene and have already purchased the Medical/Dental a couple of years ago. I have a few listed 3D plants that show a price (free with my SSA) but is there a special place that you are finding these other 3D plant options??? This is all that I have for options. My SSA Expires Aug 2025

I guess the "premium" catalogs are the extra 3D plant catalogs, aside from the crime scene and medical stuff. My SSA license expires August 2025. ValleyGuy
@JKEdmo thanks Jim, I did find them where you said to look. It is a little weird that they aren't included in the regular catalogs too, just like the Crime Scene and Medical. Thanks again, Shayne
ericepv
A question for anyone who has downloaded any of the 3D Plant catalogs that are offered in the paid catalogs section - Are they enough of an improvement over the free (w/SSA) catalogs to justify paying for them? Chief_Content
Hi All, Don't panic. Please refer to this older post and realize these catalogs for purchase are meant for our Home Designer customers only. The full 3D Plant catalog is still included in your SSA access.
