HumbleChief
The dashed line looks like a demo wall in my wall type key and would like to customize it? Any way to do so? If I had my druthers I'd just like to see an open space, like a doorway?

Doug_N
The command to show or to hide the top edge may be a bit misleading. It only affects the edge on the swing side of the door. Here are some examples.

Doug_N
So it is misleading!
kMoquin
It's not misleading, it controls the representation of the top edge, the line you see is at the bottom. If you try again with an interior door it will be clear to you.
glennw
Try Hide Top Edge in the door dbx AND turning off the Opening Header Lines layer.
rwaldrondesigns
I have been trying to do this exact thing. I have turned off the Opening Header lines layer and have hidden the top edge and still see this. Uh yeah... ignore me. I had lines drawn behind it Edited July 18, 2020 by rwaldrondesigns Shutting myself up...
caconstruction
have a way to change the opening indicator line in plan? want to make a dashed line and lighter than the door.
DBCooper
The short answer is no. If you change the line style and color for the "door" layer it will change the swing indicator but it will also change the door and the jamb lines. You might want to submit a feature request for that.
