ACADuser
Trying to dimension a door opening manually, 19'-7" Nano SGD, but no snaps to the frame of the door. What am I doing wrong? The only snap that will come close is the "On Object" snap which is only snapping to the wall MOL.
MarkMc
May be like cabinets, where it is not possible to snap to the openings. Can do a detail from view-dimension that, copy the dimensions and paste in place-not live but better than nuttin.

From "Mork (Mork from ORK) and Mindy" TV Series: Nano-Nano SGD = Sliding Glass Door So, this must be a very big "Sliding Glass Door" imported from the Planet ORK. glennw
If it is standard library window or door, you need Openings...Sides checked in your dimension defaults. You can turn all snaps off as you don't need any snaps to dimension openings. If it is a symbol or some other type of custom opening, that is a different story. glennw
That doesn't sound like a standard door to me.
GeneDavis
That "door" costs more than a lot of new cars.
ACADuser
$14,000 was the figure I was told. (not installed) The door is in a "Chief doorway" with a Nano door symbol in it But the door way should be able to be snapped to it with snaps. glennw
Alan, As I said... Quote If it is standard library window or door, you need Openings...Sides checked in your dimension defaults. You can turn all snaps off as you don't need any snaps to dimension openings. This also applies to a Doorway, which is a standard Chief door type.
