  2. I'm not sure what this has to do with stairs.
  3. Lol, yea, about 10 inches taller and probably 130 lbs. more....... Errrrrr, maybe only 110 lbs. more, Hence the Fitbit I got for Xmas.
  4. Hey Joe, if you want, you can do a prelim test with me. Maybe I can provide a few constructive critiques before the big launch. Joe, this will be huge if you get it right. I think you know what I am looking for, but a guinne pig such as myself might be a good test for your macro. BTW, I do not know how to spell guinne....... I went to the Perry School of Spelling.
  5. That my friend will make CARRICKS'S MACRO OF THE MONTH invaluable, thank you thank you thank you.
  6. ditto, both systems work well, switching from pc to mac was a little rough in the beginning, but I would not go back. However, the pc worked very well.
  7. Thanks for the update Facer. BTW, do you know if he travels with a GOPRO? I would like to track him in real time. Thanks.
  8. Well ain't this your lucky day....
  9. I think I did the video, the great Glenn Woodward had the idea, I don't know where vid is.
  10. You know Lew, there have been several features that you have requested that have eventually been implemented and I would like to thank you for that. Now when it comes to your suggestion to lock floors..... I ain't so keen on that one..... but others have paid off hansomly.
  11. I think early part of January..... that is what my wife said.... we might want to check with CA but Lynn is rarely wrong.
  12. I don't get what you do not understand. I thought you understood the ref sets. I do not use Glenn's method. i use ref sets. I think Perry uses ref sets. If you use ref sets, there is no CAD involved. Learn the power of ref sets..... it can be improved...... it can be improved if CA gives us the ability to use the MMRLS, which is the ability to use multiple ref sets for any view sent to layout, but until they give us the MMRLS, the MRLS works very well. I have read that others want to modify the ref sets because they think it will be more intuitive.... I don't get that..... ref sets work very well the way they are set up if you understand them..... One more side note, if you use Glenn's method, that will mess up your MATERIAL LIST. I don't use material lists yet because I think they are too difficult to use in the present set up, but eventually, the material lists will be super.
  13. BTW Glenn, on my computer, half of your screen is cut off, I forgot what the fix for this issue was. Do you remember?
  14. I am in the same boat, I cannot see Glenn's screencasts on my IPAD. I have to wait to get to the office to view on my OFFICE IMAC.
  15. Did not look at plan, but you might be using a single layer wall....... Problem is with your wall definitions
  16. wait a minute...... this is interesting.... so what do you suggest? don't use legacy shadows? don't use legacy shadows because it slows down computer? if you don't use legacy shadows you get the spikes... ... so..... I want a fast comupter (don't use legacy shadows)....so I won't use legacy shadows, but if I don't use legacy shadows I get spikes..... not good. So how do I not use legacy shadows and avoid the spikes Thanks for the help Rashid, this could be some good info.
  17. I do too. If any body knows a better method, please share it, thank you.
  18. Backwater Country? I am embarrassed.
  19. JK, did you also Raytrace in CA and if so, would you post the CA Raytrace to compare? BTW, very very nicely done. I really like the background, I assume that was an actual picture that you put in the picture. Really nice.
  20. WOW, when I was in Oz several years ago I thought it was closer to 1:1.
  21. I think you will find it is worth the extra money.
