  1. BTW, I understand this is not what you want, the point is I do not think you are doing anything wrong, but it must be something within CA that has some restrictions on the height at end of the truss.
  2. I cannot explain why, but if you open your plan and DROP THE ROOF PLANES down 12", you should be able to get your attic truss.
  3. Elevation lines do not need to be broken. If you use an elevation region, that elevation region will override the elevation lines.... much quicker
  4. Who cares. It looks great right now. Nice job Greg.
  5. I wonder if X8 will fix this for you.
  6. I hate to be your English teacher, but I think you meant "you're" I think you and Perry had the same English teacher.... or you are both using DRAGON with auto spell. I am just buying your ba**s.
  7. Pretty nice Justin, you forgot to mention you are also using a cross section slider
  8. Because you did not click your heels together 3 times and say 11 hail Mary's.
  9. Come on Alan, the 3rd monitor is for Judge Judy......
  10. You should always post plan to get a quicker ACCURATE answer, but I would bet if you opened the cabinet and CHANGED THE DEPTH OF THE SHELVES, you will no longer have the problem. Probably a change in depth of less than 1/2" will fix it for you.
  11. Incorrect...... it is possible...... the ceiling plane is flat .... you are not following the issue.....
  12. I do not think there is a better solution other that what Perry suggested which is to live with it but turn off rafters for 3d views. I played with predefining the birds mouth... a no go..... I tried using a thicker wall to get the auto birds mouth, lock roof framing, change thicker wall to thinner wall... another no go.... I have no solution, I played with this a long time ago and I could not reach a solution. Glenn, where fore art thou?
  13. I think you can open the roof plane and change the birds mouth depth and width. Keep in mind you will need two roof planes, one for the 2x6 and one for the 2x8
  14. I think a 15' x 17' master is ideal for that house. 14' x 16' is not that far off..... it also depends on how much wall space you have. But I could live in that size m. bed and I think the closet is a nice size to for that size house...... everything can always be bigger. Good looking house.
  15. 7' x 5' = errrrrrr 35 s.f., not 45 s.f., hey P., I caught Joe making a mistake.
  16. I agree with Dennis, maybe 5'-4" wide minimum, 6' is better, 7' wide is ideal. Make it as deep as you want. If you want to keep a 747 inside the closet, a 10' x 12' closet would be apropos.
  17. How is this helpful, maybe for a well, a sunken exterior spa, a pool..... there must be more useful functions of this... if I thought some more, I could probably think of some.
  18. Thanks D, I thought there was someway to embed the hole in the symbol. Muy bien and gracias.
  19. I think because that material is OPENING NO MATERIAL, Joe might have a better explanation. Jonathan, take the oval tub out of the liberry, the one with the deck, and change the material of the deck to open no material.... it works like a charm..... what is weird is this morning when I first put the tub in there, the hole was square.... I must of been doing something wrong.
  20. Okay, so I feel like a nit wit.... I even did a vid on it.... oh brother..... thanks JC.....
  21. Joe, would you mind posting an example of this?
