  1. Interesting... It seems like I have all the installed files you have but something must be corrupted.
  2. Ok I guess that is the back door but it basically gets me the same thing as F1. I have booted several time or possibly 100 times since I first noticed the issue so I don't think that will help. Should I rerun the Help.exe by itself or call tech support tomorrow ?
  3. Last time I needed the Help File it was not there. Just had time to check it again and the window pops up but nothing in it. Anyone else having issues or figured out how to resolve them ?
  4. I would need a few more details on the little end wall trusses but it looks very similar to a bug report that I sent in for X12. What was your procedure for installing those ? If it is a match I can give you my case # so they can track it down faster and get it fixed or get it fixed again.
  5. \n perhaps. Sounds like you need a vacation Rene.
  6. Did you try a manual ceiling plane ?
  7. Mike you might try creating a seam in the roof planes where the angled beam is and then auto frame may give you something close that you could work with. But hey, do they really need drawings ? It looks like they already have it figured out.
  8. That should work but it is not a new problem. @dshall is the expert on that issue.
  9. Not exactly sure what happened but that may have been an undocumented X13 style update.
  10. You can rebuild your 2D cad block but it looks like you already have the one you want so just reassign it as the default.
  11. Maybe you could post the PDF so we can all play and see if it has anything to do with hardware.
  12. It is not like they don't know about the issue. Not really sure why the feel so inclined not to fix it. If you can't view your PDF in Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat then I think there is something wrong with the PDF. I suppose you could always send it in to tech support again like they requested.
  13. You will need to carefully consider the process and methods you use. Something is wrong with your uploaded plan file... It says Unavailable for some reason. Be sure to save and close the file before uploading and Zip if over 14MB.
  14. Yes a 1070 will work with X13 but not for real time raytracing. I think there must be something up with the material or lighting. I think there was a material update but I am not sure if it automatically substitutes the new one when you bring a plan forward. Strange that the dishwasher seems to look ok.
  15. Yes a few details about your system such as CPU GPU and memory as well as GPU driver info in this case are helpful along with your current version of CA.
  16. It should be a little right of center on your top row of tools when in a 3D camera view. Or if it is missing you can add it back by going to Customize toolbars.
  17. Make sure they are set to absolute zero or better yet try "Matte" rather than "General Material" as a test.
  18. Yes you can use the Cross Section Slider tool in a 3D view.
  19. @dshall It must be an ambient light level issue or maybe incompatibility with your stucco material. Not quite as bad inside but still bright enough to kill the scene. We might need to find an X12 plan that can be brought forward and do a 3D model from it in X12 and again in X13 to compare unless CA already knows what the issue is but they will never say.
  20. Not sure if it still exists or not but there have also been printing issues with transparency in chief because it is not flat.
  21. I had a strange feeling we had done this before. Also a lot of other useful information in that thread about PDF's if you scroll through.
  22. Yes they hope to implement it but not sure they have a schedule from Apple yet. https://www.chiefarchitect.com/blog/computer-for-design-and-gaming/
  23. Not the plan file. The link to the 3D viewer file like you want to send to the client.
  24. It does not seem to run very well on a PC either. You could always post the link and it would be a little easier to compare if you are willing to let your work go viral.
