  1. Broken or disconnected a Wall somehow.... looks like you are new here so please do you fourm signature so we know which version of Chief Premier you are using....
  2. Hi , you don't need to draw anything , Chief's materials are Images (Textures) but it appears as if Corten 7.2 is just Ribbed Metal Roofing which Chief has in the Core Library >Material>Sheetmetal>Ribbed , which can likely be altered/colored as needed. https://www.cortenroofing.com/corten-western-rib-7-2-siding-panel-a606-4-weathering-steel.html I appears you are new here so please do your signature so we know which version of Chief Premier you are using, thanks. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/18908-signature-here-at-chief-talk/?tab=comments#comment-155662
  3. Like others I suspect you don't have ALL the correct Info for the existing build and Mark may well be correct , as I think you are working backwards , since the Ceiling height MUST be correct , so something else is up.... M.
  4. X13 or X14? some guesses..... Imported a PDF or two? Accidental turned on Framing Labels Add a Framing Schedule Turned on all AutoBuild Framing (Though for me this is okay but have seen recent reports of slowdowns esp. in X14) Added a Fill that is generating lots and lots of CAD LINES and am sure Others will add a few more..... Mick.
  5. Left Auto build do your Roof Planes, (uncheck Roof over the leanto area temporarily) the current planes are reporting the Top Plate height as 91 1/2" and the Ceiling is at 97 1/8" Current Auto Roof
  6. Make a new WallType with 4x4 Studs instead of 2x4 Studs...... In X5 you might also need to make a new "Framing" Material with the correct stud spacing and size too. This old post might help too ?
  7. I thought this was possible now in X14 but perhaps not? In which case Wall Material Regions could be used instead if you need a Schedule and a Materials list. M.
  8. Are you talking about the Preferences Setting for minimum Line Weight or you set the line Weight to 1? Line Weights are generally controlled by the Layer they are on.....
  9. Glad to help..... most of my Clients won't use a beta Version, some as still on X12 due to X13 Issues , so my fingers are crossed that this combined with the latest Nvidia Drivers cure a few of my ( and their ) issues. M.
  10. From your pics, you may need to redefine the Material as AREA not Linear AND you need to Edit the Materials in the Components Tab of the Solid * Warning X14 just Hung (crashed) when I changed it to AREA here........ okay 4 1/2 mins later Chief allowed me back in...... grrrrr It seems Chief , even with Area specified ( above) is using depth X width for the area calculation .... not Height (thickness for a solid) x width Update..... The Surface area is being calculated correctly so , you can use you own macro in the Count row of the Component Tab to get what you need currently though this shouldn't be need (owner.surface_area/2).round(0) for larger areas this is better (owner.surface_area.floor/2).floor
  11. Thanks, the Version can alter the Answer and if it maybe Hardware related the extra Info for you system can Help too. Mick.
  12. No sure what version you have since you haven't done your Forum signature but try this........ https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/18908-signature-here-at-chief-talk/?tab=comments#comment-155662
  13. The FTW3 model is back in Stock Rich but is not that price. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/34305-nvidia-and-amd-gpu-prices-continue-to-plummet/?do=findComment&comment=267997
  14. No we can copy Cameras in X13 too. Mick.
  15. No , this is not a feature of Chief, never has been. The Master List can do some of it but it would be a slow process I think and the way Prices swing these days, you'd need to be changing it weekly. M.
  16. On ok , that makes sense , thought I might need to followup in X14 on this is they changed it. M.
  17. I'd have assumed that was ON (checked) by Default for a leader line too ....not in X14? ....or was that you M.
  18. Just a heads up and the PDF that many forget to download..... Mick. chief-architect-x13-update-notes_23.4.1.8.pdf
  19. Currently testing the latest Studio Driver ( 512.59) but have not found there to be any difference , since Studio is based on the Game Driver.
  20. Part and parcel of Chief's Room Based Paradigm I think, even if the room is only defined with an invisible Wall so you man need to take control of each "Room's" Default Light Set , ie don't use Automatic but as you are still 10 Series Nvidia I am not 100% sure if it all act quite the same with the new Astral 3D engine. M.
  21. In Interior PBRs Chief tends to light the Room the Camera is in and "forget about the rest" try switching the Light set from Automatic to Default Light Set and make sure all rooms lights are ON in the Default Set. https://chieftalk.chiefarchitect.com/topic/34372-why-are-my-exterior-and-interior-lights-on-in-camera-mode-but-not-in-ray-trace/?do=findComment&comment=267882
  22. The is a difference in PBR when you use the Automatic Setting and when you use the "Default Light Set " , Chief has always "balanced" Interior Lights with the Sun Lumen Setting too , so it is not always easy to figure out the issue with a particular View. Sometimes as in the Recessed lights below required me to turn One on and off to Active them all once the Default Set was active. sometime Lighting is wrong too if looking from one room to another as Chief uses the "Room" ie looking from a Family Room back into the Kitchen in an open Plan House. These examples are in a test plan in X14, I just poked my head through the wall for the interior snips.... Automatic Default Set On
  23. Have you tried the Wall Layers Edit Tool? more info here https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/article/KB-00033/adjusting-wall-connections.html Mick.
