Anyone Else having a crash / locked out of GUI on Opening a macro in TMM ? I do have a Camera Open in another TAB but don't know if that is related..... Chief is using 9-10% of the CPU doing something but it won't let me back in..... after 8 mins ...I "ended task" on it

Turn on Show Position ( temporarily) and then play with your Offsets , they look wrong to me

I can't remember which version we got UNLIMITED Lights in........... X12 and Up for sure , but before that Chief had an (artificial) OpenGL Light limit of 8 , so you may have to pick and choose which ones are "ON" as I see you have X11. However Chief Still defaults the No# of Lights to 8, have a look in X11 if you have this DBX, in my template plan I have set it to 200 to avoid this in most situations.....

I thought you were the Sketch-Up Master Here ....... I was hoping for a new symbol Pretty sure someone last week had the same issue with that bathtub , and you need to open the Symbol BEFORE resizing it and remove the stretch Planes. M.

Make sure on the Light Data Tab the box is Checked for Raytrace as well or "Both"

If you have the Room I could definitely recommend a Pair of 32" BenQ 1440p monitors, ( use current as a third for email, etc ) also recommended over in this thread too.... but it does come in a 27" version too. https://www.benq.com/en-ca/monitor/designer/pd3200q.html

As Joe mentioned it is easy to use a base cabinet to make those Cabinets yourself , but those Kohler Cabinets are really designed to take therr own pre-made Kohler Countertop and sink all in one unit "Tops" like the Solid Expression Line which are also in the Kohler Library.... M.

You also need to Fix your Light Data actually ........ you only have 1 Light and there are two..... so add one and make the necessary adjustments, which is easier to do if you turn on the "Show Position in camera View Setting" temporarily. *Or download plan I just uploaded PLAN FILE : Exterior Sconce Symbol Plan.plan

Hmmmm cos I just did that ....ie saved to my Library after changes above, ( thanks) and brought back in to check and all seems well? You sure you aren't bringing your BAD light with the 3D offsets back in instead of the "fixed" Symbol with 0" X,Y,Z offsets? ( The Z Offset maybe the only one to use here depending where the Hole for the Octagonal Elec. box is.)

That is done in the Object DBX , not the Symbol DBX ...just the way CA does it I suppose so you can't to it all in one step. In the BAD plan the Light on the Left is Correct but you haven't generated the 2D CAD Block ( using default sconce one), and in the Symbol DBX you should also set the Options....

Just so you are clear the Issue here was that the Kohler Vanity is not a Cabinet, ( no idea why CA did that) it is a Furniture piece, and thus won't accept the sink like a Base cabinet will , it is nothing to do with the type of, or use of the custom countertop. M.

this should work , it sounds like the ToolBar is Undocked and lost.... eg. you have changed monitors or gone from 3 to 2 or something like that... Mick.

that is actually the latest Driver from Nvidia , from March 22........ and I have tried it , and am currently trying some older ones , so if I find a flawless one I will post an update to my Nvidia Drivers Topic, I haven't found one so the Topic has not been updated lately, but I'll do it now. you could see if the option to Rollback to the one you had is available in Device Manager if you don't know it's number. It seems it is seen in Chief as a Furniture Piece not a "Cabinet" so....... Place the Sink on the Floor ( agree to message ) and then open the sinks's specs ( DBX) and set the correct height , then using the CTRL Key, Slide/move the Sink back into the Cabinet. ( don't use the sink I did ) M.

Not that uncommon on a Cut Rafter Roof, but not that common on Rake Walls is my guess ? I agree with Rob though once you know the offset, the centerline is not really used again. I am surprised that some Ruby Expert at Chief hasn't worked out those offsets though to add to the centerline "Cut length" so it's correct for the "Field Cut". * And Alan haven't we had Cutlist forever in SMR or is there something new in X14? Any chance the Dell Tech updated the Dell Command Centre too? and perhaps the Nahimic Software? CA has a known incompatibility with Nahimic...

Anyway, can you not Roll the Driver Dell Installed back Via Device Driver? the Crashing in 3D Chief said was fixed in the latest Drivers on Win 11, but on comment on Win 10 , I am trying different Drivers myself to see if I can find one the will work in CA , without issues, they all work in 3D games or in 3DMark > TimeSpy , which I downloaded to see if there was issues elsewhere other than Chief...nope.....all 3Dmark told me was my 3080Ti was in the 96% percentile for the 11700K CPU I have. Unfortunately I have to say you are not the only one, I have both a 3080 and 3080Ti here and both have varying Issues in X13, not just 3D unfortunately, and there is no "known fix" for it all, in fact it seems the March update brought back the Issue in Layout of Triangle ( lines ) appearing on Wall Surfaces, and I also had a crash that corrupted the Plan and could no longer be read.... Just some from this week.... M.

I have seen this happen IF I don't close the Layout and and reopen it. It seems Chief doesn't see the the Save As Plan as a new plan until after the Save As Plan and Layout are closed, on Re-opening the Layout it will Reference the Original Plan again. M.

Not quite sure what you are doing as like others I can't get the "reversing issue" in your Plan.....
