  1. Should all be good to go then , just like you never left M.
  2. Did you uninstall it? you can run both at the same time..... You would need to reinstall it if you did.... If you don't have the install File it is here : https://www.chiefarchitect.com/support/updates/oldupdates.html
  3. Hi Doug , both are done with custom Mouldings drawn full size in section , then the closed polyline added to the Library where it becomes a Moulding automatically. This Deck Hand Rail was Applied with a Molding Line 1"/25 mm from the outside of the Railing Wall with the Moulding set to extrude to the inside. The Brick Sill here was done with a Cut Brick drawn in section and saved to the Library and then applied to the Window Sill in the Window DBX. In this case I modified the Brick texture and made a Brick Sill Texture (material) too, so it looked Right. ( the quick and dirty method ) Your Brick ledge at the foundation should have a drip too? , so for a 75mm Brick set it to 60mm? with a Foundation overhang of 15mm? or ??? Ended up deleting the walls of the house in yourplan as I could not get them to change to Brick....very weird , i have not seen that one before... M.
  4. Nice Tip Eric ! ..... 7" + and 7" - Bow setting back to back 9" Cabinets..... M.
  5. X10 auto adds the " to Default Labels I found when using the same Label Macro/default settings from X9 like you.
  6. @Alaskan_Son maybe using Michael's Superscript Option?
  7. Nope , not at all, but we need more information to help properly.... you and I have already written and spent more time on this than they did....just sayin' M.
  8. What is your Default Offset for the Label -12 like in the Picture? You can Format the Default Label , differently too , I just like the Schedule No# above the rest but you could also put the %type_Name% on it's own line too , you may need to increase the default Offset depending on how you Format the Default Label. M.
  9. There are no Moderators .... Here you go answer their 2nd question then :

Have you worked you way through the Tutorial Guide? https://cloud.chiefarchitect.com/1/pdf/documentation/chief-architect-current-tutorial-guide.pdf You really need to be a lot more eloquent Krissy , two questions for a total of 12 Words , no images and no posted plan.....you have to help us help you....please... Also, it's good to have your Forum Signature filled in please, especially with the Software Version, and of course a Name is nice too ........ ......see mine below in Blue for how to do that. and if you don't see my Signature then you have them turned off for the Forum or are perhaps on the CA Mobile WebSite.
  11. Veterans wouldn't like the way you are maligning them Not all answers apply to all Titles , especially the Home Designer Titles ,which is why Eric and I ask that signatures are Filled in...... but that choice is up to one's self.... though more info = a better answer.
  12. I've seen that issue as well 3ft windows get framed 30" 4ft , windows 40" etc..... so I use a modified System like Glen showed, it won't change existing windows as noted ( new windows will ) but if setup in your Template it does..... the Label will ignore the Width and Height in the Schedule if it is in the Windows Default Properties already. *note.... the Schedule Number does not show until you place a Schedule in Plan. And it will double line the Schedule if you Format the Default Label like Mine, (below) which some may not like. this is in X9.....but Works in X10 too , in X10 I didn't need to add the " for Inches it does it for you.
  13. Your Thread says X9 but your Signature says X8..... just thought I'd point that out ..... I'm not buying I have X10 , which is a $700 upgrade BTW. M.
  14. Walls are controlled by Roofs , not the other way around except for Half Walls or Railings. Also, it's good to have your Forum Signature filled in please, especially with the Software Version, and of course a Name is nice too ..............see mine below in Blue for how to do that. If you don't see my Signature then you have them turned off for the Forum or are perhaps on the CA Mobile WebSite.
  15. Thanks for the Reminder Greg, to my Surprise my old CTE-450 (Bamboo Fun) works in Win10 after all (Driver 5.3.3.3) after Wacom Told me there were no Win10 Drivers for it. I actually got their large Mouse Pad (Sargas) from the Microsoft Store , its huge , and I actually like it , can't comment on their Mice though. M.
  16. He/She is working on a HD Plan File apparently.... but hasn't done their Signature Yet.
  17. I had not thought about inserting the CAD Block, from the Symbol, if needed , that would work if someone really wanted to shown it in Plan View and is easy to do , and you could hide them with a different Layer too in certain Views.
  18. Rev-Shelf was originally a Sketch-Up Library , so I don't think it has all the Capabilities of the Chief In-House Symbols , some of the Items are all one material even , ie even the Drawer Slides and Utensils are Wood in some etc
  19. Yes , same thought here.....if you put the Placed one's on a separate layer , you can turn them off in 3D Views though. M.
  20. You can't see one when you see the other depending on the View ? or are you showing open in 3D and closed in Plan View? M>
  21. You can use 1 of each as a workaround but @McMark Mark is the Cabinets Expert here, he may know how to do it. M.
  22. okay I tried a Waste basket and a Drawer Insert and they only show if I drag them into a Cabinet ..... still playing ..you need to set the height off the floor that way though. M.
  23. how was the rev-a-shelf waste basket put into the cabinet?
  24. Should be , alot of stuff off 3D Warehouse has really high Poly counts , as it is not always done by Professionals , ie alot of Students post the Class "Projects" up there, not that I am a 3D Artist by any means, I just know Chief doesn't like Curves or rounded objects much or objects that haven't been optimised for Poly Counts. M.
  25. post the plan for others to try , as there should be no issues at all , unless perhaps the User has tried all sorts of Workarounds to "fix" stuff his/her version can't do. Unless you have just fond a new Bug in x10? Eric ,(Solver) plays with alot of HD files though from the HomeTalk Forum , so I'd think he knows. Also, it's good to have your Forum Signature filled in please, especially with the Software Version, and of course a Name is nice too ..............see mine below in Blue for how to do that.
