  1. Did you try labelling B as an Attic? or is it a real room? not that simple , you've got some interesting walls and a large hole in the Floor ... I'll have a better look later if needed... M.
  2. Like Eric , I was Originally a bit Confused by what image you were referring too or if you were being "general" as in commenting on Spanish Style Homes with a link that.... it did not open as one Image, for me at least, but as a Large Google Image Gallery , I don't think anyone will be offending by you "liking" their Work and posting an Image here, but you could also link direct to the Site the Image is from too, instead of to a Google Search Gallery. I think Eric might be right about the Angle ( Tapered?) Sides on the Hole , but Glenn's Hole looks pretty good to me, I haven't tried cutting thru a wall with the New Tool yet though.... M.
  3. Not from a Viewer is my guess , so Try DraftSight... Mick.
  4. Thanks David , that does look smoother than my Clopay one...... I turned it into a new material and included it with my T&G Library below made from the Clopay Material but resized etc. If you want to make your own from the Clopay T&G and want White finish, start with the Fir T&G as it Paints white the Best. M. MHD_Tongue and Groove.calibz
  5. More like catching up of late lots of Issues for many with the 380 Series if you read the Notes there is a Fix for GTX 980-1080 Cards and OpenGL which should help with Chief. and a fix for GTX 965 Cards to return their Speed.
  6. Try you signature with no logo image perhaps ? maybe it doesn't meet the criteria? eg size etc Looks Like Square Joint Tongue and Groove to me ? similar to T&G V joint mounted/installed backwards... *Try Clopay's T&G with the White Colour Option from the Color Option Folder Applied and see if it is close enough.... (Garage Door Manuf. Catalogue) , I use it for Soffits and t&G Ceilings if a "Country" Look is needed. If applying to a Ceiling remove the 0" Paint Layer as this is a smooth White Finish that won't follow the "Grooves" If you have the CAD Detail you could probably make a molding and Model it M.
  7. Nvidia had updated their Drivers again.......... ===================================================================================== UPDATE ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nvidia has now released v391.01 Drivers Desktop http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/131443/en-us Notebook / Laptop http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/131447/en-us ***as far as I know ...***not being a MAC person*** Mac Drivers come as part of the OS , but their are a few Websites out there which tell you how to do it manually. https://bluebellflora.com/manually-update-nvidia-geforce-graphics-drivers-in-os-x/
  8. Would be best to post an image of what you need I think ..... Also your Signature is all messed Up......
  9. Thanks Allan , will Try this next time I need to "play" in AutoCad.
  10. I'll have to remember that , thx, seems like it fixed the Shadow behind the Stools too. I see David has reflection on his Island Top , I've not had them that "polished" yet , but I hope they figure out Standard Glass soon , as things like Wine Glasses and Cups etc can't be seen alot of the Time unless you change them to a "textured" glass of some kind , eg the included Brandy Sniffers and Tray disappeared , all I could see was the "Brass Details" and most Pendant light Shades disappear too.. M.
  11. Okay...my mistake I can't see the recessed cans this side of the Beam and thought it was some reflected PBR Weirdness like I was getting the other day off the Floor Tile on the Toilet or Bath. The "glow" isn't that obvious at 1st TBH , I was wondering if it was a PBR thing or not? I actually noticed it cos of the Shadow behind the BarStools....
  12. I'm still getting them too , even in saved camera views.....
  13. Since turning my default Sun Lux down to 2000 ( lower if exterior - 500? ) I have had way less occurrences of the WhiteOut but they still happen, even in Cameras that were saved and fine the Day before eg the Bathroom Plan I am working on currently, but I haven't figured out any commonality yet as to what causes it. Nice Image , I see PBR has some weird light reflections in it like in my Bathroom Plan though , ie the light splotches on the beam that appear to be from the Island pendants. Is the Island a Different "colour" than the main wall cabinets? it seems to be "glowing" , I'm not sure if the lighting behind the Stools is "natural" , deliberate or a PBR issue though? M.
  14. Like you Rob, I am not that familiar with AutoCad but I use the Free DraftSight AutoCad Program to occasionally "look" at Files mostly or Export the File in a different Format/Year etc. ( I hate the inverse colour schemes ie black backgrounds in AutoCad ) https://www.3ds.com/products-services/draftsight-cad-software/free-download/
  15. Me too actually ... I believe He is on Hiatus though, at least I haven't seen any reports on new videos of late...
  16. Hi ...... are you refering to Material Regions? or ? what are you doing when this happens ? Also, it's good to have your Forum Signature filled in please, especially with the Software Version, and of course a Name is nice too ..............see mine below in Blue for how to do that. If you don't see my Signature then you have them turned off for the Forum or are perhaps on the CA Mobile WebSite.
  17. Did you follow all the advice? The Stairs NEED to be in a ROOM ........... use an Invisible Wall if needed.... M.
  18. I would just post the Pic here Direct Chad .... but you can Shape Windows in all sorts of Ways and also Add Custom Muntins , there are a few Posts here on the Forum about doing the Muntins but one of the included "Lite" Options may work too. M.
  19. It helps having 20+ years "Fixing" Chief Weirdness behind your belt there's a reason for Scott's YouTube Channel.... M.
  20. Thanks for the Heads Up Graham, I appreciate the time you put in on this and RTing help. M.
  21. X10 is not updating the File Associations when upgrading from X9 , at least I have seen a number of reports now and explains why th eLibraries I posted didn't import properly into X10 either I believe. I posted a fix for Windows Users , perhaps you can add a Link for Mac Users to this Thread too ?
  22. I tried finding that thread but couldn't, maybe it was on the Beta Forum? but is definitely not the 1st report of this.... M.
  23. I need to have another play as unlike you I am not a big hotkey user but I could not get this one to work at Default ( Alt+Z ) , I thought perhaps I was hitting Alt to ealy so nothing happened so assigned D as Chris mentioned and that didn't work either , so I just use the Default Icon On put on the Side Toolbar which does work. Could well be Pilot Error of course since Hot-Keys are not my Forte. M
  24. Images are too small , try the Snipping tool like CS. said , see my Signature for how...... Rounding Error Possibly? how accurately was it Drawn etc ? 1/16 dims and Snap Grid ? M.
  25. I find it is better to save as a .txt ( not csv or Excel Auto Formats it), I then use Delimit with comma and Space (Tab doesn't make a difference in a Chief File as far as I can see) , accept every thing as General ( you can remove AM/PM columns or any others you want too now) and I usually get Columns A>L , using this Method. Chief does not give a Total or Column Headers when exporting for me, (Why?) so I Select Drag everything in the total time Column (K for me) , right Click and select Format Cells> and on the Number Tab...Select Time> and for Type I choose the 37:30:55 Option (in Excel 2007, others work too) then a background for the Column if desired and hit Ok. To get the Total you then select a Blank Cell at the Bottom of the Column and on the Formulas Ribbon hit AutoSum ( it will insert =SUM(Cell number you clicked in) so click in the Cell and type in your actual Column Cell IDs ie. change it to K1:K(Last Cell number) eg it should look like =SUM(K1:K53) where 53 = your actual last cell number. ( *Use your column letter if not K too ) Adjust Column widths , add Column Headers if needed , and then save it as a WorkBook (.xlsx) or PDF for a Client if needed. ( it may complain about ruining the Txt File , if you want to Keep it too , Use Save As>Workbook instead.) I don't know Excel well, so that's about as Far or Fancy as I get , probably are better ways but it's good enough ...... M.
