What type of view is it? Is this PBR? Is this in layout or from the actual 3d view?

Set your default to the highest ceiling height and use manual ceiling planes set to 0 pitch slope at the proper heights where the dropped ceilings are. Just like it would be built.

No. BTW if you go to tools>keyboards and hotkeys you can produce a list of the hotkeys as well as set your own for those that are available.

Can you describe more of what you are looking to do? If you are looking for plan defaults it is the wrench icon just like with PC...

Short answer is no. You can do custom door/drawer panels with this type of built in pull which has been discussed 10's of time here on the forums if you need more assistance with the integrated pull. But it looks like these cabinets actually have more of a recess there which you would have to do some custom work to pull off using the standard cabinets. It would have to be a very custom door and drawer front.

Most likely the issue is in your wall definition. You shouldn't have framing in different layers of the wall unless you are using it for a siding like B&B or are using it as rain screed.

The problem is in some cases the edit all area function will cause problems with the Cad work, where the reverse doesn't. It will depend on how far advanced your plans are when you switch it as to what method might be necessary. However I believe that Chief still recommends the reverse plan tool for side to side.

Is your model way off of 0? Best practices is to start your model at 0,0. Since Terrain is specific to the property then you would obviously need to adjust what you would adjust on site of terrain modifiers.

Not an issue in X15 as you can now pan about in your layout box. You will have the same issue with edit area all floors tool and other issues that will come about. Highly reccomend reverse plan tool for side to side and edit area all floors for front to back flips.

As Jason mentions. Click on the extension line till you see it highlighted and usually you will see a blue square I believe it is on the end by the marker. Select and hold and place the line where you want it exactly and a tail will follow it.

That will only work to one point. This is done all the time and works. 1.) make sure the wall in the structures panel is set to default top and bottom height. Once you have manually adjusted the wall that function is turned off. 2.) under roof panel in the wall dbx set the lower wall type if cut by roof to your desired interior wall type.

Open the Wall dbx>go to roof panel and look at the bottom where it says what happens if a roof cuts the wall.

Not exactly what you are looking for but may help you in modeling them in the meantime: Quick cross section and cad detail from view and cut and paste and had a functional section.

Hardscaping is basically done with slabs and/or terrain features. I believe @ChiefArchitect has a terrain and site plan seminar coming up any day if we didn't already miss it. But the help files and videos are very helpful on this. For the pool there are several in the catalogs if you want a fiberglass. For a standard built pool I generally use a room on the foundation level.

Also make sure rooms are turned on in that layer set.

Very hard to tell in this picture but a few things come to mind as possibility. Best would be to include your plan in this post after closing chief first. 1.) Did you manually adjust the wall below or the wall this door is in place? Select both walls and in the structures panel of the wall DBX make sure that default wall top and bottom height check boxes are selected. 2.) Is the door sitting on the subfloor like it should be (at 0 elevation)? If it is raised up then the apron might be set to this and that might be what you are seeing. Hard to tell from the picture but in the door casing panel of the door dbx midway to the bottom is the option to use the sill apron.

Probably not actually what you are looking for but is what you are asking for. Set your ceiling height at 12’ turn off flat ceiling in the rooms then place a 0 slope ceiling plane at the 9’ and 10’ heights just like it would be built in real life.

Too close together. Put the different elevation lines or regions on either side of the retaining wall with a break in the middle of the wall. Too close together will cause the spikes.
