If the bay creates a room, it will generate a room label, you can always change it to bay window. without a floor no added square footage, with a floor added square footage. You can also not include it if you want. Make the wall between the bay and the living no room def and it becomes part of the other room but that could cause other problems.

drawing 50 years, never saw that before today. drawn over 5000 plans.

that doesn't look like a chief door symbol to me. the new looks correct.

I have been using windows 11 since before it was released without any problems other than some video driver problems, those are fixed now.

I see this also, I think it means they haven't got to them yet but working on them, still beta. It could mean there is no update. Mine still work though.
-
Some of us never got that notice.
-
Larry notice when you open X15, the heading doesn't have the word beta anymore. Chief has been doing that in the final beta for years. there will be a final update before it officially releases.

the rule I use for myself is, if a plan is still in the preliminary stage, then bring it forward. if it is mostly done, then finish in that version that got you there. been doing that since 2005.

Room Names Eliminated in X-15 Why!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
DRAWZILLA replied to Archnot-Boltz's topic in General Q & A
And for all remodelers out there I have to put a (e) or (n) in front of all those rooms. sure would be great if it was a checkmark instead of changing every one and having two of each. -
No, because as we design it we never know what will be required for the model to comply until it's complete. you can set up u-values for doors and windows and have them show in the schedules, but you might have to change all that later. Of course, here in California, we have the toughest energy codes in the nation.

I haven't noticed anything yet.

it's already there in beam framing under "with joists" or "under joists", I just wish it were in the edit toolbar instead having to open a DBX and find it.
-
make sure you also check "mark as edited" at any roof planes you want to be left unchanged.

so far so good with me

Looks to me like you have 2 sets of stairs in the same place. Post the plan for an exact answer. -
Only if there is plumbing or some reason to go there.

I have brought foreword a few projects without any problems. there is some adjustment to include some new items, but very easy to do.

X15 is a fabulous update. it is working very nice for me. I'm working on about 10 projects with it.
-
Thanks Joe, the sooner the better as I have about 10 projects in x15 that need fixing.

CHOP IS RIGHT.

Did you try some rafter blocking there? Either turn it on in framing or add iit manually. the plate height and walls should stay the same height.

the latest drivers work for me, try it out. 528.24

Sometimes those types of line disappear when you actually print it.

try to turn off the crosshairs, see if that helps you.
