The drywall company (who also does insulation) was so impressed with my insulation job he wanted to know if I would consider joining his company. Insulating walls using Rockwell insulation is fun...the ceiling not so much with batts weighing almost 15lbs (R-38).

Hi Derek, Skull Mesa Ranch is a 501(c)(3) private operating foundation (skullmesaranch.org) that will be partnering with the Scully Learning Center which provides housing, employment, and enrichment activities for adults with mental disabilities. Can I lend them my software so they can do some housing trade offs? Can I give the software/computer away? It seems like such a waste to do nothing with it and poor advertising for Chief Architect.

There are a few neighbors but at 5 acres minimum they're spread out. The one lane dirt road with a cliff on one side and mountain on the other scares most buyers off.

Thanks to everyone that helped me get to this point. It was a real challenge building in this remote location. Being my own GC and do much of the work myself was incredibly satisfying. When it's your own house, you can take the time to pay attention to details and do a better job than subs. The best compliment you can get is when the inspector says "I really like your house!" I'd like to sell my perpetual CA license and gaming laptop since I only plan on building one house (and barn), Will CA let this happen? How do they know if the laptop goes with the software? Thanks again all you guys, it would have taken a lot longer to get my plans done if it wasn't for this message board.
