  1. I have always used a p-line with a fill and put it in the back,, for remodeling the new footings always have a fill to tell the difference from new and existing.
  2. You have to change the cad block for that.
  3. Thanks Mark, for anyone interested, this is a great thing Mark has going on and a very learning experience for people in those fields. We have already done that in one of Scotts webinar's so I will leave a space for someone that hasn't experienced this system. I'm sure this will be great for those who order cab's. if you have room I'll come again.
  4. if you did a clean install then maybe you need to download core lib. again.
  5. I do it using cad lines and callouts
  6. all colors are different depending on if your seeing shadows or sun or interior and lighting is critical and can change every color you might see in a plan or elevation. Printing is also something different depending on the type of paper you might be using. I really don't think its possible to get an accurate exact match. Monitors are also something that can be changed and can vary for each different model and setup.
  7. If you can still find them, copy them to your X10 data folder (in the textures file) so you know where they are. You might also check in the X9 data folder for them. Where did you previously keep them? Only you know where.
  8. Thanks Gerry, I still use the old plant schedule method.
  9. nice Gerry, This would be great if Chief would do it for us. Notes like this vary greatly depending on where you are also.
  10. sorry Buddy, I just don't have that issue in windows, so I'm not sure What you are asking..
  11. Thanks Joe , I had no idea Dropbox had that option., i'll check it out.
  12. You can also just bring it into the layout, change it to the size you want and re-save to the lib.
  13. file-print-drawing sheet setup
  14. For me , I have replaced some of my older materials with the new materials of the same kind b/c I know Chief has been adding new materials in X10. If you haven't re-vamped your template plans lately, might be a good idea. Not sure if this will help you , but it can't hurt.
  15. Dennis , how's that golf game coming.
  16. The only way I know of opening more than one plan view is multi-selecting from the project browser.
  17. You can also open up all the views at the same time to click back and forth between all the views to work on.
  18. Select the dormer walls and just cut--paste hold to the next upper level.
  19. MOVE THE DORMER WALLS TO THE ATTIC FLOOR ABOVE, THEY WILL LOOK THE SAME IN CAMERA VIEWS AND BE GONE FROM THE LOWER FLOOR.
  20. Larry, one thing is that there is an exterior and interior side of an interior wall. it controls things like exterior and interior side of doors and casing, etc. Also which side dimension's are connecting too, depending on how you set it up. Nice video.
