  1. If I have problems like that, I go to plan 2,( invisible walls) and just use p-solids for the posts.
  2. Select it "cut" then go to the floor you want it on and "paste/ hold".
  3. You have tabs now at the top of the view for very fast switching. You can also open the project Browser and go to floors or pages ,if your have the layout open, and change them. This system is much better in my opinion. Watch the videos from Chief online.
  4. I think it was in a read me file or a latest changes file that came with the bug fixes. I just remember reading it somewhere..
  5. Do you have any of those oval bathroom sinks in your plan. There is one that slows us all down.
  6. This happens in every Beta season and has always been that way. They need to give everyone a different code key just incase you don't pay for the upgrade when its due.
  7. Larry, of course that would be nice, I was just answering his question.
  8. you can also specify framing in the new walls, and no-framing in the existing walls
  9. I have a 40" without a problem, just make sure (if you want 1080p)you have an HDMI out from your video card.
  10. Just trying to help, I heave no idea what skill level you have.
  11. If you make a new wall type and use it sometimes, you can save it to the lib. now and its ready to go for future jobs
  12. You can try to make the railing wall a "no room definition" wall, then you can slide it into the invisible wall if I understand you correctly
  13. I'm pretty sure you need a different wall type for every different condition, and now you can call out the r-value for each wall.
  14. Go play in the rain, only true real golfers do that.
  15. Thanks for making symbols that we can use and are not in the lib.
  16. Chief has said this time around they didn't concentrate on framing, maybe next version
  17. Try turning off "Hardware edge smoothing" in the render section of preferences. It has helped with those cards in the past.
  18. First floor and foundation plan on same floor , not good policy for professional plans. Too much info and sometimes very hard to show correctly.
  19. Also set "Color off" to grayscale in preferences
  20. I would also suggest making the lowest floor as floor 1, so you can have a foundation plan.
  21. Thanks, I was also getting that
  22. It works for me. You may need to create a new 2d block after rotating it for a correct plan view.
