  1. Go to the windows DBX/ general, and change the minimum separation to "0"
  2. There are a lot of video's out there, watch as many as you can. Watch and do worked for me. search Youtube, Chieftutor.com, and of course Chief's own videos.
  3. Those tools can do the same thing, the backclipped section using a longer run will be the same as a section /elevation.
  4. I would love to go but, I stopped doing long plane rides a while back, being 6'7 350 lbs., those seats are just too small for me to be comfortable for that long, the only way I fly now is 1st class. If I went to the south pacific, 1st class is not worth it, I might as well take 6 local cruses, sorry buddy, getting old Anyway I try to fly when I can hold it b/c I don't fit in those stupid toilets.
  5. I get that crap all the time, she remembers stuff I did, that I would never do, but she is very convincing. She's like the DA and I break in the cross examination. Penny can also remember things 40 years ago, I'm always just dead meat in these things. Sometimes I can't remember what I had for breakfast. Have a great trip Scott, I know right now your trying to finish projects before you go. When you go places for a week or 2, do your clients ***** at you like mine do. They never want me to vacation.
  6. I know you can get rid of that but I would have to play around with it. Scott is the master of those kinds of things, post the plan.
  7. It works for me also but its real slow and connects at places I don't want it to connect to.
  8. It gets the siding from the upper wall, try using the " lower wall type if split by roof" tool.
  9. Mac editions don't Driver update from NVidia, only Apple does that Hopefully they have an updated driver. They should, as that card has been out for a while now.
  10. Select that Gable end wall and check "Balloon through ceiling". That's the way they would build it.
  11. You need to send it in to tech support, as the Chief guys might not find it here
  12. Larry, tiff's are very large files-- I would never use those
  13. I also haven't seen this but I have a great video card, yours seem a little weak to me.
  14. I also use PDF's all the time, I just don't get any slowdown. I use Adobe Acrobat x.
  15. You might try to turn "hardware edge smoothing" to "none". It has helped others in the past.
  16. Printing higher than 96 does no good at all unless you need to print at a larger size for some reason. Do a test and see
  17. What's the DPI setting do you use to save your PDF's, about 100dpi will work, no need to save PDF's at anything higher for that application. a high setting is just bulk and will slow things down
  18. The connection still looks bad, if you use the wall layer connection tool that I said to use, it will clean that up
  19. no, this tool, you may have to break the wall where it meets another wall
  20. Have you tried the new wall connect tool? Works great for me.
  21. Offer away, I hope you get some work, we have been getting a lot of spam lately and I thought you were just another one. Sometimes it hard to tell. good luck. we also like to have some fun with them.
