Foundations on multiple levels, But one floor plan

For me it's basement on level 1, foundation on level 0, works good for me. I want my foundation plan separate than a basement plan, too much going on ,and the cities might reject it drawn that way as too hard to understand. -
I also use Ariel exclusively. The problem is in my text blocks on the layout, that I have had for years. It seems that the last update is the culprit.

did you get all the windows 10 updates?

why not you can still use walls on the second floor, no matter what height your 1st floor is.

Chief has tested well with windows 10 for long time now, but sometimes the little buggers have a problem, try to send it in to support.

You just need to divide the 2 rooms with an invisible wall or room divider wall and change the ceiling heights.

Just change the height for that room or rooms. Chief works with rooms as the main thing

it looks like the casings are different sizes door to window. I would make the sidelights out of doors.

Yes, just make sure you get one that works with Room Planner. Chief has a list.

Also there are some old mirror textures floating around from previous versions. Try another one from the lib.

Happened to me and I use "Ariel" for everything but only in a text block.

YEP I ALSO GET THIS, WISH THEY WOULDN'T DO THIS EVERY TIME I now have been going thru all the templates and unblock and click on height and width and rename and re-block.

Thanks Greg, I think it will be great for my client videos I do. Unfortunately my wife will put the kabash on it until my birthday so I will have to find another way. She always says I have everything, so she want to surprise me --some surprise.

Looks to me like the batts are white or light gray. Change them to black in the edit texture DBX. I have an anno-set just for sending elevations to the layout,(Scott does this also) to get the lineweight I want, like windows ,doors, and roofs for the pop effect.

I don't think Chief is really made for commercial work (Con doc's) so you would have to do some workarounds.

Adjust the "panel frame options" in the door DBX.

You can select any text , then hold down the "x" key and drag a corner, to change the size to fit somewhere.

Reference Floor Display - How To Turn Off Wall Fills?

change the reference set to what you want to show, or create a new reference set. You just copy a set that is close to what you need and rename it using ______ ref set. I have several ref sets -
The problem is that it dosent stick with the updates, you get the old one and have to change it again.

Is has roof checked in the room DBX?
