  1. We already have the square footage macro and the window area macro, we just need the total and calculate macro.
  2. Like I said ,I use about 6 more Anno-sets than what Chief gives us ,and add some when needed. You can use Anno-sets however you want, then don't jump all over my posts with your method is better. to me it's not ,and anyway you have no idea how I use them. I guess I don't understand how you use them, good luck, just trying to help you understand. We all use different ways of doing things and all are welcome here, then you get to choose what you like, that's what this forum is for. Bring on all the different ways good and not so good. That's how everyone learns. I just happen to like my way until another better one comes around.
  3. I don't think I'll fall for that one. right now , too busy to do that. You figure it out , your a big boy. If you could only tell me where you have a problem and what you don't understand, then maybe.
  4. Actually I don't use that many Anno-sets, I only use what I need. 6 more than what Chief gives you. Michael , you just don't understand Anno-sets like I do and that's ok.
  5. I have done Safe rooms under a porch within the basement, can be done, but would need to see exactly what your conditions are to help. Not automatic though, at least the ones I have done
  6. You all know you can have more than 1 electrical Anno-set, just create a new electrical Anno-set with furniture and framing. 1 click is all you need.
  7. not a pain for me, The Anno-set also automatically sets the layer-set every time, just work from the Anno-sets and don't worry about the layer-sets, they will be automatic. You can turn on the furniture in the elect. layer set if you want, you know. I just see it all going faster, if you just use it like Chief wants you to.
  8. You just set up a different layer-sets with different scales in your anno-sets. very simple, then 1 click everything changes and is very fast but you have to set this up first. Using Anno-sets is a very fast way to change the way you draw but faster so you don't have to go into your layer-sets and change anything there
  9. I do that also, I thought he was wondering why the cameras wouldn't stick.
  10. Once set up its done, how can that be annoying?
  11. You have to send those camera views to the layout then save both prior to shut down
  12. In a layout,Go to tools/ layout / reference plan files to link the plan to the layout. Then refresh everything or close and re-open
  13. yes , you can set up different layer-sets to do exactly what you want. also use Anno-sets to bring up those layer-sets. search the videos for those items. once you learn them you will never have to turn off or turn on a layer again for standard views, non-standard, just create a new Anno-set and good to go in 3 minutes.
  14. Can't you just change the roof line thickness in that anno-set / layer-set and anything else you want thicker.
  15. I always use plot lines for sections/ elevations b/c I print in grayscale so I never saw it. I don't like color in those, it doesn't print well
  16. Your right, I never use red so never saw it.
  17. yes, just uncheck or check these but you can't have it 2 ways for plans and elevations.
  18. the thickness of the cross section line is adjusted in the camera/ display section of the camera DBX. My camera's show up fine in the layout
  19. If you have to use red make it on the dark almost black side, if you print to grayscale
  20. Yes use the save as with a different name and tune off auto save
  21. I have the E7100i and don't seem to have any problems with buttons.
  22. I use the post tool, and the post with footing tool. If you adjust the defaults prior to placing it works great. No cleanup for me
  23. Glen is correct, but it would also be nice to be able to copy camera settings, and section elevation cameras.
