W. WA state I know you didn't need Design Criteria, but here it is anyway...........it varies slightly by AHJ here (snow loads and seismic mostly)

Short cut? This is something I run into all the time. People see the pretty 3D model and then balk at the additional expense (time) it takes to make a permit-ready plan set. DB is 100% correct. W. WA state has all kinds of requirements that Pinedale, WY does not. Good luck

Yep.....Tech support had me check some things.....and Full Disk Access was not enabled. It works now..............big thanks to the tech guys and Devin Turner for the win.

X17 does not open on the full public release of macOS Tahoe. All my other software just works. I submitted a TT.

My 2 cents. Keep the midspan beam but use continuous I-joists instead of lapped lumber. and your plan has nothing in it.

Your best COA is to post your plan so people can understand what you say you need.

I hop one license between my windows and mac and it's super easy. Chrisb222 nails it. On the chief website Go to License Management and "Deauthorize" your dead machine. Install Chief on your other machine and use your login "key" to authorize the new device.

Did you have that issue before rounding to ½"? I keep mine at 1/16th and force objects to move to the exact dimension I want. So far, the CAD obeys me.
