That is the way I always do it.

It stays for me..... but I might be using a newer version of CA. I did close and reopen and it is still there.

Yes, you are missing something. Put in a sun angle in and then you will have an option. Put in multiple sun angles and you will have multiple options. Note that in may plan I 6 sun angles.

BTW, I do not think interior casing should necessary for the garage doors for this to work. A weakness in the program.

I bet you do not have interior casing on your garage doors. In regards to the other doors, I have not a clue without a posted plan.

You are correct, it no longer works, it did at one time...... somehow CA needs to work on this...... before X8 I had no problem staying in a room, but now, if I zoom out, I end up in Wasilla Alaska staring down the nose of the Alaskan Son.... eeeew....

Speaking of customer service...... just how important is it to me? Very important. I just spent 20 minutes on the phone with an ATT rep., I think the rep was in India, I heard many voices in the background.... this is a phone company and I can barely hear their customer rep., anyway my home cable just went up from 170/mo to 270/ mo., I guess their was some kind of promotion that expired, did the issue get resolved? NO. I could not identify my childhood superhero. Now I have to go down to an ATT store to show my drivers license so I can now consider cancelling and moving to another service... of course Lynn is fed up with the hassle and she is willing to spend 270.00/mo. Customer service is king.

Never ever ever have I experienced that at a mac store, and I go there several times a year. In regards to phone support, I can't believe how good it is.... at no charge....... their customer service I think is probably second to none..... sorry you had a bad experience. The customer service is another huge reason I stay with mac.

Good suggestions, however I will go a step further and recommend a roof plane in lieu of landing (that way you get the framing).

My slow down occurs when I am toggling between sheets in LAYOUT. If I go from a sheet with a floor plan to a sheet with a framing plan, no worries, but when I move on to a sheet with elevations or sections, it always takes about 10-15 seconds for that sheet to show.

Hi Mark, as usual, I am late to the party..... I just bought BLUEBEAM, it looks like a great PDF viewer...... I assume you like it a bunch...... do you have any issues with it or would you say that it is the best you have seen to date?

You might consider learning how to use ref sets and how you can control what layers are on and off for a particular ref set.

sEe pic, if I take a camera view, I get a default white background, I want no background at all. It seems to me that there is now a setting that will only give us the building, and any area around building is "transparent" Does anybody remember how to do this? I am trying to create a building camera view on top of the actual picture without using PS.
